Adults 18-34: Rating/Share 4.5/13 4.0/11 1.2/3 0.9/3 0.9/2
Total Viewers (million) 16.682 12.31 5.546 9.110 2.941

NOTE: Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for NBC  (NFL Football) and Fox (World Series) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers.

NOTE The start of CBS prime was delayed in many East Coast markets due to NFL overruns. In New York, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Louisville and Jacksonville CBS programming was delayed 9 minutes. In Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Detroit and Dallas CBS programming was delayed 26 minutes. Ratings are tentative and subject to change.

FOX was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On FOX, the end of the Broncos/Redskins football game notched a preliminary 7.8 adults 18-49 rating. Game 4 of the World Series garnered a preliminary 4.4 adults 18-49 rating up 10 percent from a 4.0 for last year’s game 4.

On NBC  Sunday Night Football, which featured a match-up between the Vikings and the Packers earned a preliminary 5.6 down 46 percent from last week's preliminary 9.5 adults 18-49 rating from 8:30-11PM.

On ABC, America’s Funniest Home Videos earned a season high 1.4 up 27 percent from last week's series low 1.1 adults 18-49 rating.  Once Upon A Time scored a 2.2 up 5 percent from last week's 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were too pessimistic. Revenge matched last week's season low 1.5 adults 18-49 rating.  Betrayal notched a 1.0 up 11 percent from last week's 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On CBS, the start of primetime was delayed in many East Coast markets so these numbers are likely to change in the finals. 60 Minutes scored a 1.5 down 46 percent from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating. The Amazing Race earned a series low 1.7 down 11 percent from last week's 1.9. A heavily promoted episode of The Good Wife matched last week's 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. The Mentalist garnered a 1.3 up 8 percent from last week's series low 1.2 adults 18-49 rating.

Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Yay for OUAT should go more up next week for the hyped episode!
Revenge steady is good; will see S4 but needs a new time slot!! Still decent ratings
At least they didn’t drop!!!- OUAT should adjust up and Revenge might too
CBS will probably be adjusted down in the finals

  • steven

They need to so something with sundays shows its awful

  • casey

Betrayal Rises—that crap but yet no increase for Revenge or OUAT

  • diana

What a relief that revenge is steady

  • Cle

Happy revenge is flat.. and Betrayal is rising.. it may suprise some ppl… I may escape the bear.. there is a long shot but maybe.. Both revenge and betrayal is a good combo..

  • E

Although SNF beat the World Series in the 18-49 ratings, MLB has to be encouraged that they beat the NFL in total viewers. It doesn’t happen too often!

  • jupiter3765

good for once upon a time

  • pmr

There is way too many things to watch on Sunday. Best night of tv for the week. My dvr works overtime and I usually have to catch some things on demand because of the Sunday overload

CBS Pgh was delayed 36 minutes due to FB overrun–worth the wait for the outstanding episode of THE GOOD WIFE

  • numbersguy

@casey — actually OUAT went up (prelim 2.0 last week, 2.1 final)

  • RyanCanada

As long as Revenge and OUAT are ahead of the CBS shows im fine and dandy

  • Alex

    where’s dante?

  • Too Bad

Too bad The Good Wife performed poorly after all the hype about it.

I thought it was very well written and acted last night. Probably one of the best shows out there. But most shows I like get cancelled because only old people watch them and old people don’t buy things.

    RIP Good Wife .

  • Mike

    OMG! Dante didn’t post first!

  • dantas

    Good morning, fellas.

The Mentalist, The Good Wife & Betrayal WILL ALL be canceled.

Revenge will be renewed for a fourth and final season (that may be a shortened-one) as long as it stays above 1.0. If it goes lower constantly, it will be cancelled.

  • RJ

Revenge may be flat, but a 1.5 is nothing to be happy about. I’m sure it’ll flirt with a 1.0 by the time spring rolls around.

  • romo

    SNF wins yay !!

  • Mark Wilkins

If this isn’t the final season for TGW, then it’s in trouble. Both it and revenge are almost identical in ratings, but the lows have nothing to do with sports or TWD.

  • dantas

Dante didn’t post first because there was no Chicago Fire on last night…

  • Edward

Revenge’s half hours before people ask: 1.5 to 1.4
