Adults 18-34: Rating/Share 4.5/13 4.0/11 1.2/3 0.9/3 0.9/2

NOTE: Due to the nature of live  programming the ratings for NBC  (NFL Football) and Fox (World Series) are approximate and subject to more than the typical adjustments in the final numbers.

NOTE The start of CBS prime was delayed in many East Coast markets due to NFL overruns. In New York, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Louisville and Jacksonville CBS programming was delayed 9 minutes. In Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Norfolk, Detroit and Dallas CBS programming was delayed 26 minutes. Ratings are tentative and subject to change.

FOX was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On FOX, the end of the Broncos/Redskins football game notched a preliminary 7.8 adults 18-49 rating. Game 4 of the World Series garnered a preliminary 4.4 adults 18-49 rating up 10 percent from a 4.0 for last year’s game 4.

On NBC  Sunday Night Football, which featured a match-up between the Vikings and the Packers earned a preliminary 5.6 down 46 percent from last week's preliminary 9.5 adults 18-49 rating from 8:30-11PM.

On ABC, America’s Funniest Home Videos earned a season high 1.4 up 27 percent from last week's series low 1.1 adults 18-49 rating.  Once Upon A Time scored a 2.2 up 5 percent from last week's 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were too pessimistic. Revenge matched last week's season low 1.5 adults 18-49 rating.  Betrayal notched a 1.0 up 11 percent from last week's 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On CBS, the start of primetime was delayed in many East Coast markets so these numbers are likely to change in the finals. 60 Minutes scored a 1.5 down 46 percent from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating. The Amazing Race earned a series low 1.7 down 11 percent from last week's 1.9. A heavily promoted episode of The Good Wife matched last week's 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. The Mentalist garnered a 1.3 up 8 percent from last week's series low 1.2 adults 18-49 rating.

Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Tried getting into TGW earlier this fall when it came available on Hulu and just couldn’t make it past season 1. I thought there was so much focus on their cases at the expense of the characters. I didn’t find the characters very like able.

Good for once! I’ll admit some episodes are a lot better than others but I have to give them credit for the way they creatively re imagine the stories of all of these characters. It cant be as easy for the writers as on a procedural which can often be formulaic. Wonderland was not quite as clever and I think the ratings show that.

The Good Wife was incredible last night!

My perspective of some struggling shows on Sunday night:

The Good Wife- dumb name, great show, great writing and acting. Last night was exceptional.
Betrayal- good show, never got momentum.
Revenge- wrap up a few plot lines.

I agree–last night’s episode was beyond exceptional! Emmys to all involved!

The Good Wife is close to Revenge!!!

  • Nikki

Are they running late with Sundays cable ratings?? I havent seen anything yet. Anyone see anything?

Good Wife was really good last night, and I am really liking the faster pace of the show. Its not as fast as Scandal but its not that far off now.

With the Reboot of The Good Wife I can see the show getting another season, PLUS its been an EMMY Power House each of the last 4 years , with wins going to the actors playing Kalinda, Alicia, Patti Nyholm, and most recently Elsbeth.

    also ,

Caught Once Upon a Time . another good episode at least from my perspective.

Good to see that the bulk of scripted programs were even with last week.

Typically, the Sunday cable ratings are released on Tuesday. Usually we hear of The Walking Dead because I believe AMC orders the ratings to come in early for that. But the rest of Sunday’s cable ratings are released on Tuesdays.

FOX: Animation is getting a little old. They should try something else.

Well since FOX has only 3 half-hour cartoons slated for next season, I suppose they will be.

    Good for OUAT!!!!!!

  • ezra

Go Revenge! Revenge will get higher rating next time

  • Jeffrey Sean Keith

What people are failing to realize is Revenge will go up to 1.8 in the Spring,no more football or baseball, and the Walking Dead will be the only Competition people, give it a rest!

  • Brian

    Say GOODBYE to Revenge!

  • iSayso

    Bye bye!

  • honest, real

The picture of the 2 dudes kissing is funny. The 2 women are both just looking at the ground as these 2 dudes go at it with aids all over their lips= gross.

  • honest, real

Wow Carl, way to trash people with GED’s. So what I said is so terrible but you basically saying a mean hateful thing about people havingnGED’s that’s ok rite? Typical hypocrit.

Oh i thought they were usually posted Monday evening.. oh well. Im interested to see how Witches did. I love that show.. its kicking butt. Hope it bounces back from last week.. although i dont think it did horrible last week. Just a little lower.. but its still early to tell. I really like the show though.

  • PurpleDrazi

Did anyone else see the article on CNN about how Nielsen would be adding streaming viewers to it’s ratings next fall?

Only under certain conditions of course but it looks like things could get interesting.

  • Kim

Betrayal is a good show, but ABC always seems to yank 10 pm est shows…..i think it has to do more with the timing than the show itself….
