E! DELIVERS DOUBLE-DIGIT YEAR OVER YEAR GROWTH IN PRIMETIME ACROSS TOTAL VIEWERS AND ALL KEY DEMOS IN OCTOBER 2013
Eonline Continues Record-Breaking Pace with 11TH Consecutive Month of Double Digit Yearly Audience Gains
Los Angeles, CA, October 29, 2013 – Fueled by its popular core franchises, E! continues its momentum as the pulse of pop culture with year-to-year double-digit growth in October across Primetime among Total Viewers (+17%, 483,000), Households (+18%, 406,000), P18-49 (+15%, 276,000), W18-49 (+16%, 209,000), P18-34 (+20%, 173,000) and W18-34 (+26%, 137,000). Additionally, year-to-year gains were made across Total Day in the following key groups: Total Viewers (+10%, 307,000), Households (+11%, 267,000), P18-49 (+9%, 185,000), W18-49 (+11%, 141,000), P18-34 (+14%, 119,000) and W18-34 (+18%, 94,000).
Currently in its 8thseason,remains a pop culture destination. This October, the series averaged 2.2 million Total Viewers and 1.5 million P18-49 and is currently the #1 reality show across cable in the Sunday 9 o’clock hour among P18-49, W18-49, P18-34 and W18-34. New hit series Eric & Jessie: Game On paces as the network’s best new series in W18-49 this year. This month, the series delivered over half a million women in the demo (591,000), drew 726,000 P18-49 and averaged over 1.0 million Total Viewers. It’s currently the #1 original reality series in its Sunday 10-10:30pm half hour with W18-49 and W18-34.
Younger adults continue to embrace and empower E!’s unique take on its popular topical franchises.is delivering over half a million Total Viewers on Wednesday nights (567,000) driven by growth in W18-34 (+33%) and P18-34 (+24%). Continuing to focus on major pop culture events, which included Miley Cyrus, the Kardashian family and the christening of Prince George this October, E! News had another banner month with double-digit gains in Primetime among W18-34 (+14%) and P18-34 (+12%) pushing Total Viewers up +12% to surpass half a million (529,000).
Additionally, 2013 is pacing to be E!’s strongest year to date in digital and mobile, with consecutive record breaking months and its best quarter ever in 3Q13. October-to-date, Eonline and mobile is on pace to deliver its 11thconsecutive month of double digit yearly audience gains. E! Digital continues to gain momentum and outpace top competitors in growth, moving into the #1 rank across its digital products (multiplatform, PC and mobile) in Total Uniques versus all Entertainment News sites as of September (across E!’s key demos of P18-49, W18-49, P18-34, W18-34 in multiplatform and mobile as well).continues to be E!’s top reality franchise on Eonline with Season 8 pacing at all-time digital highs. Kardashians’ average weekly visitors on Eonline has nearly doubled from the prior season (226,000) and it remains one of the most socially discussed reality shows on Sunday nights according to Trendrr.tv.
