    @Simon

    I know, that´s why I wrote “even knowing it doesn´t count”:)

  • Carl

    Is this the part where someone tells us again that Hostages is doing the same as Elementary and how this is bad for Elementary?

    I’m going to just quietly laugh about that for a moment.

  • Ryan

    I think its time that Hostages moves somewhere else. 1.2 is just horrid. They should just put two Big Bang Theory repeats at 10 & 10:30

  • HeadlessHorseman (formerly JacobYates)

    Blacklist could stand on its own I think. Either way, great episode, great ratings!

  • Tommy

    How long until Hostages gets cancelled?

  • RJ

    NBC is a beast on Monday. The contrast between their Monday performance and their Thursday performance is really quite sharp.

    And yeah, looks like CBS successfully shored up 2 Broke Girls with the move to 8:30.

  • mathew

    heart of dixie is very steady in demo and viewers

  • PurpleDrazi

    Enough with the “Let’s move Grimm” talk. Why would you move it to a night that has more competition????

    It’s doing great where it is. Leave it alone

  • jp

    NBC has a hit in Blacklist…..don’t screw it up Peacock.

  • tvwatcher

    Can anyone recall how the first few episodes of Revolution’s Season 1 performed behind The Voice?

  • It’s funny

    @Freddy Arrow
    “Think of it like election coverage. You don’t need 100% of precincts reporting in to make a very good estimate, but sometimes those estimates are just a bit off. There’s a good chance that Hostages just went from something like 1.26 to 1.24.

    There are a small number of shows in which the estimates don’t work quite as good as others. The Big Bang Theory springs to mind as the show that changes the most for no “real” reason.”

    Thanks for the explanation! So sometimes it’s really just a calculation error. Makes me wonder why they even bother reporting on preliminary ratings. :P

  • Josh

    2 Broke Girls’ ratings continue to improve since moving it from 9pm to 8:30pm. Smart move by CBS.

  • Irene

    Hostages has episodes that are exciting and episodes that are tedious to watch. I thought this was limited series. I hope they allow season to finish out to allow closure. It is also up against Castle/Blacklist which has loyal fanbase from the ratings.

  • Reprise

    @tvwatcher

    Overall The Blacklist is beating Revolution in that timeslot.

  • tvwatcher

    Thank you, @Reprise, but I wanted to see what Revolution’s downward trajectory was.

  • ABCDEF

    @tvwatcher

    Revolution
    4.1 3.4 3.2 3.0 3.3 3.0

    The Blacklist
    3.8 3.3 3.1 3.0 3.0 3.1

  • Matt

    CBS saved 2 broke girls. Very glad it’s up. Always have found it funny. Excited to see the ‘new’ mike and Molly next week. Hopefully it lifts up mom. I find mom to be really funny

    Also himym is perfectly consistent

    CBS should put hostages to Saturday and put Big Bang repeats there till intelligence

  • omabin

    @tvwatcher,

    Revolution:
    4.1, 3.4, 3.2, 3.0, 3.3, 3.0, 2.8, 2.6, 2.6, 2.9 (fall)
    2.6, 2.2, 2.2 2.0, 1.8, 2.1, 1.9, 1.9, 1.9, 2.0 (spring)

  • tvwatcher

    Thank you to @ABCDEF and @omabin.

    Revolution started higher and fell more. Spring is when it started doing poorly. I hope Blacklist can hold its own in the Spring.

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    There goes Hostage’s big gain.

    Castle is as solid as a fortress!

    Great hold (again) for The Blacklist!
