    The Originals is great.:D

Glad POI adjusted up 0.1 but still worried about it being below 2.0. 12M total viewers, still beating The Voice there. But, once again, that damned target demo… Let’s hope that advertisers start realizing the value of online viewing and SD+7… It won’t happen to save POI this year, though.

I really think that more and more people turn away from broadcast networks and do their viewing in other ways, they are going to have to create a market for those alternate viewers… I know, I keep repeating myself. I’ve been doing most of my viewing online or via DVR now for about 10 years… I still shop, I just do most of it online. Even when I just HAD to watch Fringe on the night it aired, I cheated, knowing that each upisode was about 42 minutes without commercials and would wait until the DVR had recorded 20 minutes then would start the DVR and fast-forward through the commercials…

I do some viewing via On-Demand and don’t mind watching one commercial in between breaks like they force me to just as long as I don’t have to sit there for 20 minutes of commercials with each show…

I know there just can’t be very many people out there who won’t do this and force themselves to watch every commercial on live TV… I’m not sure the sponsors really want to attract the ones who are stupid enough to do so.. but, then, maybe they do…. money is money, right?

A lot of people older than 18-49 watch it.

Not surprised that POI adjusted up. It’s older skew has grown larger but it’s overall numbers have oddly not changed much. CBS in general seems to have had its audience age a lot in the past year. But it’s numbers are still solid enough.

Pretty darn good for the ABC Tuesday comedies without the lead-in. Lead-in is only worth so much. All of the new ABC sitcoms seem to be modest enough hits to at least keep around until May. Considering how hard most of their dramas are bombing, they have bigger fish to fry than their comedies. Heck, that’s what will save SHIELD’s very disappointing performance. It’ll get a second season merely for being the last drama standing, even if it’s numbers are mid 1.0’s and below 5 million by season’s end. (A trend which wouldn’t be too surprising.)

    Yay for Supernatural! :)

I’m glad that Person of Interest adjusted up. But CSI still has the chance of being CBS top 10pm drama this week if it can at least garner 2.0 going against the World Series.

Great Performance from The Originals. Glad to see it at 1.0 demo. It definitely should receive a full 22 episode season.

And I’m glad that the ABC comedies did not adjust down.

Supernatural delivers no matter what night of the week it’s on. Even with little promotion from the CW.

  • Brio

So happy that Supernatural didn’t get adjusted down. :)

  • Charmed

Just renew Supernatural through 2020 lol

POI up, this is great. I amazing show and amazing cast.

I think ABC is testing to see if their new comedies can hold on by themselves. The Goldburgs and Trophy Wife getting a SHIELD repeat lead in and tonight SFN getting a modern family repeat lead in. Since Goldburgs and TW seemed to hold up very well, if SFN crashes and burns, there may be some scheduling changes. Still, The Middle is new.

The Schedule that would make the most sense is the move The goldburgs after The Middle because both are relativly tame, family comedies that go very well together. TW should go after modern family because both are kind of edgy but still very funny and are about a ‘new kind of family’. SFN should have gone on tuesdays with Mixology or something and Back in the Game on fridays.

Great night for the CW. Surprised in a good way that Supernatural kept the 1.1 and great to see the Originals back up to a 1.0 too.

    I’ve got 2 years before I reach the 18-49 demo :)

But can someone explain me this X factor got 1.5 in demo does that mean 1.5 million 18-49 year olds or what? because the walking dead article yesterday said a 6.8 in demo (8.6 million 18-49 year olds) Im confused

  • Nasir

    Good job The Originals!

  • Cyrax86

Nice to see The Goldbergs holding up without the lead-in and that the sitcom block is doing better than the pairing of Happy Endings/Don’t Trust… a year ago!

  • Dan

Great for the Originals and the Voice.

And im glad POI adjusted up. I personally like Shaw and Root i dont think either one is the reason for the demo going down, it still gets about 11-12 million viewers. This show is just fantastic with an amazing cast.

  • Dochas

Great night for the CW. Love the little twist in TO’s storyline. Love DG, JM and CMD together. Wonderful chemistry. Still do not like Phoebe Tonkin’s character, at all.
-Supernatural, just keeps evolving. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t. I don’t always like my husband either but I love him. ;)

  • Barb

Gotta agree. Not a fan of Root at all. Have been FFing any of her scenes the last few weeks. This week, ugh. As for Shaw, she’s just a female Reese with even nary an emotion. They should have stuck with the main four characters (Fusco’s airtime is getting robbed).

Can some one explain how POI can have more viewers than The Voice and can only muster a 1.9?

Because young people don’t like shows where they have to put down thier phones and pay attention to and then think about. But older people do. Young people want simple stuff they can half watch while texting and tweeting.
