Yes because Breaking Bad/Game of Thrones are soooo simple and cause zero thinking, vs. a staggering masterpiece like Person of Interest. Right.

  • Joe

At this rate Sam and Dean are still gonna be chasing demons when they’re 60. lol

  • Melissa

The CW Tuesdays are very strong.

I really don’t get all the hate for Root and Shaw on POI. I honestly like them both. I agree Shaw is rigid and cold. I think that’s going to change though. Just look at how she was with the little girl last week. So i think they are working on that.

@Billiam if you’re implying CBS is gonna cancel it when its consistently getting ratings in the low two’s you’re crazy. They have a syndication deal with WGN and they want as many episodes as possible for when it starts in 2015. POI getting 2.1-2.2 at 10pm isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Nice uptick for POI & TO–WTG CW!

great for TO. it’s so much better than tvd is right now. it’s refreshing not having every little thing revolve around a tired love triangle.

I have to admit good job for The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife. Both of them did well behind a repeat of SHIELD and going up against X Factor. Speaking of X Factor, what a lousy show this is. There’s little to no talent on this show and I’m not surprised that The Goldbergs beat them in viewers and demo while Trophy Wife almost beat it. Great job for The Originals and Supernatural!!! I DVR’d Originals because I was trying out the PLL spin off Ravenswood (which was boring BTW) and I usually watch SHIELD live and watch B99 on demand. I don’t watch Supernatural but I’m glad it’s doing good and the fans must be happy. Let’s all hope Super Fun Night falls hard today since it’s following a repeat of Modern Family so it can move and Trophy Wife can finally go to Wednesdays.

POI is an old folks show!!!

  • Bored Now

Great for The Originals. Love that Supernatural held too.

So POI went up a tenth, huh? Guess a few of those Shaw haters must have secretly tuned in after all… Go figure!

  • Dan

The Originals is in its first couple episodes so of course creatively it’s better than TVD is right now. But TVD is still very good especially this season compared to season 4 which was hit and miss. And personally for me i love the Hayley character and especially Elijah. I like him a lot more than Klaus. Overall im really enjoying this show and the New Orleans back drop.

  • Bella Bellini

The Originals is a solid hit for the CW and it doesn’t look like Ravenswood is any competition for the show. They should announce a full season order soon :)

  • rob60990

lol at POI. Below a 2 already. Remember when the fanboys thought this would dominate Grey’s Anatomy? lmao.

Shocked The Goldbergs held up that well building from SHIELD rerun. Depending on how Back in the Game & SFN do tonight, ABC should be making a decision on which comedies get a full season or additional episodes by the end of the week.

Not surprised X Factor tanked that low. Hasn’t been on in weeks and aired on a different night.

Had no clue The Voice was even going to be 2 hours last night.

Excellent for the CW. They haven’t had ratings this good on a Tuesday in about 5 years.

I have a question that everyone is giving me a different answer to: when you DVR a show, does it only matter if you are a Neilson family just like regular ratings?

  • Dahne

@Chris – I wonder if Root were played by an actress not quite so beloved if the character would even still be around. I like Amy Acker but I feel like she’s overplayed Root in some cases and that because of Acker’s popularity they feel like they cannot get rid of a character that should have gone last season. That always bugs me when they force a plot to acquiesce to a vocal part of the fandom.

  • jane

One thing that would help POL out is that finally you can see episodes you missed online or on demand. I can never watch the show on a consistent basis because i always seem to work when it is on.

  • Dahne

@Barb – I too am frustrated by the lack of a Fusco storyline. He’s been shafted so much that he’s more like a guest character in terms of everything except being episode wallpaper.

  • starship

Yes, also those Nielsen families need to be watching the commercials on their DVRs too (within 3 days of initial broadcast) for it to count for anything…

  • Theisssuesarenow

If there is a next season for POI It’s on Sunday or Friday. IF.

  • Elle

Maybe if the acting improved on the originals I’d consider watching it, until then… no.

  • Theisssuesarenow

I think it’s ridiculous to imply CBS will keep POI for wgn. With POI collapsing in disaster it has to get rid of it or diminish its importance on the schedule.
