CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD is the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 27.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 4.0/11 with 5.74m viewers and a 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/06), up +9% in viewers (from 5.25m) and up +5% in households (from 3.8/10). CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its best viewer and household delivery since May 5, 2013.
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +7% in viewers (5.43m from 5.09m) and up +6% in households (3.8/10 from 3.6/10) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Lee Cowan’s report on a group of grown-up friends who have bonded over the game of tag, Ben Tracy’s profile of THE PRICE IS RIGHT host Drew Carey, Martha Teichner’s behind-the-scenes look at the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest in Maine, Mo Rocca’s interview with Mariel Hemingway, and Tracy Smith’s report on the life and death of Ben Breedlove.
