THE NFL ON CBS, broadcasting its 54th year of the NFL, continues its 2013 NFL season on Sunday, Nov. 3 (1:00-7:00 PM, ET) beginning with THE NFL TODAY (12:00 Noon-1:00 PM, ET) and THAT OTHER PREGAME SHOW on CBS Sports Network (9:00 AM-1:00 PM, ET) live from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.
James Brown hosts THE NFL TODAY along with analysts Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Shannon Sharpe and Bill Cowher, NFL TODAY Insider Jason La Canfora, as well as Lesley Visser reporting.
This week THE NFL TODAY previews the San Diego Chargers-Washington Redskins game as Dan Fouts, who calls the game alongside Ian Eagle, sits down with Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who is quietly having one of the best seasons of his career. Phil Simms and Cowher lead a discussion on the perennial AFC powerhouse rivalry, Pittsburgh Steelers-New England Patriots, in anticipation of their Week 9 match-up. Mid-season playoff scenarios also will be discussed. And CBS star of MIKE & MOLLY, Billy Gardell, gives the crew a pre-show pep talk and visits the set. The NNAC is dedicated to funding innovative research for early and accurate detection of Alzheimer’s and other dementing illnesses in hopes of one day finding a cure.
