    Well 3 of ABCs comedies all averaged a similar 1.7 and Trophy Wife’s 1.4 is not too far down, the only difference is that Goldbergs built on its lead in while BITG and SFN both dropped from their lead ins. I think it’s a safe bet that ABC will order full seasons of all 4 comedies. While everyone says that ABC will axe their lowest, Trophy Wife, critics like it, ABC produces it and its doing better in the slot than Apartment 23 did.

    Maybe this week well see something like ABC orders full seasons of all 4 comedies.

    Nothing to do against World Series. Poor ratings are absolutely normal for yesterday.

  • jay

    Haha game 6 19 million. 2.5 million lower than game 6 2011. Red sox who?

  • Jack

    Revolution with a solid 1.4 EVEN with The World Series. If it gets to a solid 1.7 in the next couple weeks, it will surely be renewed.

  • Matt

    With Trophy Wife’s unexpected little surge this week, ABC should really consider moving it behind Modern Family and canceling the completely awkward and random SFN. They should also give BITG a full season and move it to Fridays behind LMS, while canceling the dismal The Neighbors. Then they should move The Goldbergs after The Middle in BITG’s old spot at 8:30. Then ABC should finally debut Suburgatory and Mixology in the Tuesday 9:00 and 9:30 timeslots starting in Midseason. ABC should announce this comedy rearrangement in the coming weeks this November, which is usually the time networks announce full season pickups and early cancellations.

    Got the uptick I was hoping for with Arrow and Revolution held firm. Can’t ask for more than that.

  • rayx

    may i asked, what’s up with the critics like or not like it? critics doesn’t make the rating, but people do?! even critics doesn’t love it, but if the show manage to get good rating, it still will be renewed. and even critics super duper love any of the shows but that show’s ratings suck, network will 100% axed it. its no brainer to renewed or give back order to any show that have bad rating just because critics love it.

    @Dan
    The Goldberg’s seems like a safe bet for a full season. I think the problem with ABCs Tuesday night comedies is that SHIELD seems so incompatible with the rest of the lineup and doesn’t do much to keep the audience. Plus the fact that SHIELD is bleeding viewers week to week and is probably the biggest disappointment so far this season.

    Good to see Arrow up. Im sure it will go back to where it was a week or 2 ago next week. The Tomorrow People i think will go up a little hopefully. Reign i dont think it holding there expectations though because it got a .6 out of a 1.3 rating.

  • Brandy

    CW dosent have enough schedule space for full seasons for all three new shows-Midseason has:The 100,Star-Crossed,Famous in 12,Masters of Illusion.Reign is also a limited series.With TTP already at 0.6 with a deccent leadin,I can only guess how low it’s ratings will be in spring if it gets a full season.
    @Jared I wouldn’t call 0.6 after VD 1.3 in only a second episode nor 0.6 in episode four or five “doing well out of the gate”TO at least has been stable at 0.9-1.0 for five episodes.

  • Jared

    @Brandy
    True…I wouldn’t call a 0.6 in its second airing great either necessarily but compared to the last 2 seasons there were definitely new series that were DOA. This season doesn’t seem so clear as to watch should be cancelled or not.

  • Brandy

    @Oliver cause its been declining each week and if it’s already at 0.6 this early what will it get in spring when shows usually dip with a full season and CW has three or for Midseason shows to fit in.

  • James Weiser

    @matt
    I AGREE 100% with you! This shakeup needs to happen soon. ABC is so stupid with there scheduling… Oh let’s put two comedies after an action show that doesn’t have the same audience. Smart ABC real smart.

  • rayx

    @Brandy
    “CW dosent have enough schedule space for full seasons for all three new shows-Midseason has:The 100,Star-Crossed,Famous in 12,Masters of Illusion.”

    NO, they have enough space. After TCD end its 13 episode season 2, theCW will have 2 hour spot in Fri. I guess some show will move to Fri. My Bet is BATB and HoD. They will aired Star-Crossed and The 100 in Spring and they never said they will aired Famous in 12 and Master of Illusin in Spring bcoz the best bet are both will aired during Summer.

    “Reign is also a limited series.”
    I never heard about this? where you read it?

    Didn’t the Secret Circle get cancelled with the same rating that TTP is getting now?

    I don’t remember what TSC’s ratings were like when it was canceled, but IT’S BEEN TWO FREAKIN YEARS!! It’s dead, over and done with, pining for the fjords! Canceling TSC may have been the worst decision the CW ever made, unless canceling Ringer was the worst decision it ever made, or moving Nikita to Fridays was the worst decision it ever made or canceling [insert show someone loved here].

    TSC was getting low ratings after TVD, then the strongest show on the CW. It was based on books by the author of TVD, so it was very compatible. The ratings didn’t go down once against the World Series, they started falling and settled at a place the CW found unacceptable. When TSC was on Heart of Dixie was pulling .5s on a night with more competition. Supernatural was pulling .6s-.8 on Fridays. The rumors were that TSC wasn’t selling that well in overseas distribution. Currently TTP does not have a lead in, so it doesn’t have whatever boost a good lead in gives. TTP may well continue its downward trend and if it does, it may well get canceled. But TTP is competing with shows that are getting .3s (B&TB, TCD) so it can go lower and still eke out another season. I have not heard about how TTP does in overseas distributions. Don’t get me wrong, great distribution overseas will probably not get a show renewed, but if it’s competing for a slot on next year’s schedule, it could be a very small consideration. I’m enjoying TTP, but I won’t be shocked if it doesn’t get a second season. I just don’t think that comparing TSC from 2 years ago to TTP today really tells us anything.

    Do we forget Game 6 in 2011 was one of the greatest games of all-time

    Nice demo for Fox

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    Go Revolution! (hopefully not quietly into the night) :-)

    ‘CSI’ Adjusted Down

    Go Person Of Interest! ;-)

  • queeneeuq

    Sans Mixology, ABC is cancelling all new comedies this season.

  • Jim

    CSI gets adjusted down to a 1.7 in the demo. Disappointing. Also on par with the Friday and Sunday night shows.

  • Nasir

    good for Arrow. last night was really good… was hoping TTP would adjust up.. hopefully it will rebound next week..

    wihs Survivor adjusted up as well, but still a good rating and it was 2nd in it’s timeslot only behind baseball which is good.
