    If we were to take out all sports (leaving just scripted programming and reality shows), what would the rankings be?

    Somehow, at the moment (Nov. 5, about 10 a.m. EST) the link at the top of the article just leads to the page of archived Top-25 articles, but not to the ratings for last week (ending Nov. 3)? Hope this gets fixed soon – inquiring minds want to know :-(

    The link will always lead to the list of the last several weeks’ posts. That list will have the most recent week’s post in it as soon as it gets published, which should be within the hour assuming the data for it arrives as usual.

    I don’t know why they still rate TV like this with DVR being here for decades plus people watch shows at their own times when they can. more people watch the shows on the weekends when you’re off work than anything
    Also people over 50 seems to watch more TV than young folks so the 18-49 is pretty dated. People over 50 r pretty hip these days

    @ultima them numbers dont look right to me 1.9 for NBC tie with CBS

    @tv2day,

    Also people over 50 seems to watch more TV than young folks

    That’s precisely why the younger folks are more valuable. It’s easy to reach people over 50, so advertisers will pay a premium to get the younger people who are harder to reach.

    What’s insane is that you managed to demonstrate a lack of math, grammar, critical thinking and reading comprehension in such a short comment.

    I did the calculations for the networks (all programming, except for sports), and here is what I came up with:

    CBS: 1.9
    ABC: 1.8
    NBC: 1.7
    FOX: 1.4
