‘The Voice’ is #1 for the Night & ‘The Biggest Loser’ Hits a Three-Week High

NBC is #1 Tuesday night in 18-49 with the #1 show of the night in 18-49, “The Voice.”   For the first time in People Meter history (dating back to 1987), NBC is #1 in 18-49 on each of the first seven Tuesdays of the season among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

 

  • “The Biggest Loser” (2.1/6 in 18-49, 6.8 viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) jumped 17% week to week in 18-49 rating (to a 2.1 from a 1.8) and by 13% in total viewers (6.821 million vs. 6.050 million), pending updates.  These are three-week highs for “Loser,” best since its season premiere hit a 2.3/7 and 7.2 million viewers on Oct. 15.

 

  • “The Biggest Loser” grew half-hour to half-hour in every key category — adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers — including a gain of 10% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.2 from a 2.1).  “The Biggest Loser” finished #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in women 18-34.

 

  • “The Voice” (3.3/9 in 18-49, 11,2 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and other key measures on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.  The two-hour “Voice” won the slot in every key demographic – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.   In adults 18-49, “The Voice” is running within 6% of last week’s 3.5 in these prelim fast-affiliate rating and within 8% of last week’s 3.6 in official nationals.
