“CBS SUNDAY MORNING” IS THE # 1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM WITH ADULTS 25-54 – THE DEMOGRAPHIC THAT MATTERS MOST TO THOSE WHO ADVERTISE IN NEWS – AS WELL AS VIEWERS AND HOUSEHOLDS
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 3, 2013.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 4.0/10 with 5.81m viewers, and a 1.4/06 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted its largest audience since Feb. 24, 2013. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +10% viewers (from 5.30m) and +5% in households (from 3.8/09).
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +6% in viewers (5.52m from 5.19m) and up +3% in households (3.8/10 from 3.7/10) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Don Dahler’s interview with country music superstar Kenny Chesney; Barry Petersen’s report on modern-day secessionists; Tracy Smith’s profile of actor Kevin Kline; Mo Rocca’s chat with historian Doris Kearns Goodwin and David Pogue’s report on scientists and tech wizards developing a self-driving car.
