    @Owen

    I am okay with that as well. Survivor is my favorite show, though they need to stop with the returning contestants and Redemption Island once the merge hits.

  • Greg

    Survivor beating Criminal Minds. Things are not looking good for CBS.

  • j

    Here for Survivor being CBS’s #3 returning show next season…

  • hello

    Wow, Criminal Minds is collapsing. Love the show, but maybe it has run its course at this point

  • Pepper

    Horrible for everything but the CMAs and Survivor. Decent for Arrow too.

  • CriticalMyth

    Replacing an hour of the CMAs with Nashville wouldn’t matter. Both are soaked in country music nonsense and therefore of no inherent value.

  • Mi

    Ouch, TTP

  • Blake

    Very happy for Arrow :D

    Oof, X Factor didn’t adjust up at all? How long before the show is hitting CW type numbers now? And Revolution is only a 0.1 away this week too. I’m going to assume that it’ll uptick a little with the CMA’s out of the way next week but how much is anybody’s guess.

    Oh, and CriticalMyth just made the rookie mistake of dismissing an entire musical genre, showing his (or her) total lack of appreciation for music as a whole. No true music fan (and certainly no musician) would ever say something so hipster-esque. No music genre (whether you like it or not) is entirely without value as long as one other person on the planet derives pleasure from listening to it. If you don’t understand that, you don’t understand music.

    ABC would not be in a position to cut an hour of an Awards show. That is not how it works. Anyone who thinks that would be a “smart idea” hasn’t wrapped their head around the complexity of network television.

    Not good for CM. But at this stage, it’s sort of at the “who cares” stage. It’s pretty much guaranteed a 10th season due to the other failing dramas. And after that, it’d probably be too expensive to renew anyway seeing as half the cast will again be up for new contracts and they all almost walked this time. I imagine the 10th season of CM will be the last, a noble run by any standard. IMO, it’s at the point where fans can just really stop giving a flip about a weak performance here and there. Giving the way everything on network TV is tanking, staying above 2.0 alone is almost enough to warrant renewal.

  • Aiden_Mathis

    TTP adjusted down on viewers. That’s bad. I don’t think it can survive without the Arrow lead in.

  • Charmed

    Ouch, TTP is barely getting 50% retention in 18-49 and total viewers, which isn’t as important but it’s quite shocking that half of viewers don’t stay tuned for TTP.

  • fearless

    NO Criminal Minds! =(

    Hope it gets better next week…

  • Charmed

    No Criminal Minds! I thought this could go on forever, guess not :'(

    In Washington DC, the Thursday night NBC lineup (The Voice, Sean Saves The World, The Michael J Fox Show, Parenthood) will air on subchannel 4.2 (normally COZI-TV). DirecTV and Dish subscribers without over the air antennas will not have access to the NBC schedule, as the subchannels aren’t provided by those providers. The NBC station will carry the Redskins football game.

    The Redskins ratings in DC are pretty big, so NBC’s numbers from here will be inflated.

    @Charmed

    It would be more shocking if the show was a little less generic and predictable. Given the standard of sci-fi/fantasy fare on the CW I honestly expected better than the cliche ride we’re getting.

  • Crystal

    I don’t really get how so many people can still watch and care about survivor.

  • Charmed

    @ Bored Now I don’t watch it, it’s not my ‘thing’, so I can’t speak for that.

  • Bored Now

    @Charmed

    Wish I could defend it and say you were missing out but I… y’know… can’t.

    Seriously, I love the premise and I want to both be a better show and do better in the ratings, but for whatever reason I’m losing faith that it can.
