Last week, the much publicized debut of Ariel on Once Upon a Time pushed the series up just a single tenth to a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating. Will the series continue to see some growth, or is another dip in store? Make your predictions below and give us your best reason why in the comments!

I loved the first season and I thought the second season was ok. The show, however, is getting more and more corny. I can predict every corner. Sigh .. I’m too invested to give up on it now. I am hoping for a 2.4 but I think it will receive a 2.2

even though i don’t watch betrayal seems to be steady and has a pretty loyal audience even though the audience is small. kind of reminds me of scandal on its first season where it was as solid as rock. i’m pretty sure if betrayal stays steady the abc will let air all of its episodes. though 666 park avenue had better ratings and abc didn’t let air all of its episodes

ONCE as been really good this season and last weeks episode was really good. I guess possibly level with last weeks 2.3 or rise to a 2.4. and around 7.80 million viewers or not far off the 8 mill mark. Belle and Storybrooke are back this week so viewers have been wondering whats been going on there since we left. I dont think it will dip.

The Good Wife I think should be steady in viewers around the 9.00 to 9.50 million mark and possible a 1.5 in the demo. Season 5 has been beyond amazing so far.

Schticks like last week are only maintenance maneuvers to keep the fan base interested. They’re not going to truly grow in the ratings without fundamentally tinkering with the formula. And that, of course, also carries the risk of driving fans away.

I hope OUAT goes up because I think it has improved over last season. The real question I have is about The Mentalist. It is a pivotal episode that should draw viewers in the the Red John reveal, so there are reasons ratings should go up. OTOH, it was shown in Canada last week due to NFL shenanigans and some of the audience has either already seen or read about what happens. I have no idea how all this nonsense will affect the ratings.

    I’m going for a 2.4.

The debut of a new character last week means many will have caught up via DVR viewing to see Ariel’s much anticipated debut, no doubt. Also, the ending of the World Series (though it had no effect on Once, maybe more floating viewers are around for this week) and the general upward trend being my reasoning.

    I hope I’m right. :)

hope OUAT and Revenge go up!

  • Midnight

It was smart to basically give Ariel a two-parter. I can’t imagine OUAT goes down much between that, the return to Storybrooke, and Belle. Hoping for 2.4-2.5 but expecting 2.2-2.3.

I never make predictions about anything against omnipotent football.

Probably a 2.1 or 2.2 at best in the 18-49 demo tonight (November 10th) because of an appealing “NFL Sunday Night Football” game on NBC: Dallas (“America’s Team”) facing a very good New Orleans club.

  • JR35

Hoping for at least a steady showing- an increase of any sort would be great. :)

I’m also ready for the setting to return to Storybrooke.

    Live + 7 Days ratings delayed ?

Love all this talk of how Revenge is improving while fans of Scandal keep going on about how its already terrible quality has gotten worse. Like is that even possible? :D

    “Live + 7 Days ratings delayed ?”

    Yes, and no.

Up until this season, we always got them (and published them) on Monday. For the first few weeks this season, we got them on Sundays.

That may be over, and we’re back to getting them Mondays. Impossible for us to know until it happens.

Thanks Bill ! Let’s see it tomorrow !

    OUAT – 2.2.

  • tv_viewer

    My predictions:

    AFV 1.4
    OUAT 2.3
    Revenge 1.6
    Betrayal 1.0

    60 Minutes 1.3
    Amazing Race 2.0
    The Good Wife 1.5
    The Mentalist 1.3

    The Simpsons 2.8
    Bob’s Burgers 2.1
    Family Guy 2.6
    American Dad 2.0

    Sunday Night Football 7.0

ABC.com “accidentally” released the plot summary of the episode the day before the episode aired. I doubt this tactic will boost the ratings from last week.

I predicted that The Mentalist won’t increase its ratings from two weeks ago (the last new episode shown in USA) even though Canadians saw tonight’s episode last week and a few who watched it online.
