Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

ABC officially killed OUAT & Revenge
    But anyway
    1. OUAT will never be the same after they broke the spell in season 1 finale and starting focusing more on Henry + Ema

    2. Revenge season 2 was a disaster the killed itself , season 3 is actually good but they need a really really really strong episode (Like Sandal last year episode 8&9) and ABC should promote the hell out of it to bring old fans or else the show is done

  • iSayso

Really, really disappointed by OUaT. Thought it would be much lower.

  • diana

    @chicco
i agree revenge needs a huge and i mean really huge game changer episode of revenge and plus a lot of hype surrounding it in order to bring in old fans. they need an episode where emily attempts suicide or gets arrested

  • Tommy M.

“ABC officially killed OUAT & Revenge”

This statement is ridiculous on so many different levels.
    1) Why would a network intentionally do something to harm their own ratings given that ad revenue is their bread and butter.
    2) ABC produces both shows, they have a huge incentive to keep both shows alive because shows don’t start making any money until they get into syndication.
    3) {and the most obvious reason} If ABC wanted to kill these shows they would have simply canceled them.

  • Mary

Revenge was a good show now is so boring boring,it went down hill.i don’t even watch anymore, the British Guy is a bored acting like janes bond, the relationship of Emily and jack was very nice ,now is like everybody sleeps with anybody no values no romance no mystery .Victoria the best character is weak now ,the storyline of her son and her relationship with him too fast no storyline, sucks

  • iSayso

Wait . . . what? I had no idea Cher was back with the bagel boy.

  • milo

    @fox

The difference between the two shows is TGW already has enough episodes for syndication.

Revenge isn’t getting great ratings but it’s on the third season and if they produce a fourth it gives them enough episodes for syndication. Virtually all shows that make it three full seasons get renewed for a fourth to make it to 88 or so episodes.

I don’t get the comments directed at Rob, his post wasn’t spinning anything…maybe people just looking for an excuse to bicker after previous threads?

  • GuyAwks

ABC need to get Revenge out of that death slot pronto. They are such complete idiots and are sabotaging what is probably their best written drama because they don’t have the balls to move Scandal or Greys. Seriously, Revenge was on fire last night! Put it back on Wednesdays already, clearly TGW and TWD are breaking your base!

  • Refrain

@ABC need to get Revenge out of that death slot pronto

    Death slot? :S

  • renny

The goodwife is kicking arse… loving it… may get a 6th season hopefully.

  • Rob R

Who would have thought we would see TGW pass up Revenge in the 18-49 demo? It has always beaten TGW handily in total viewers. The Good Wife has so much positive buzz right now.

  • Brian

LMAO @Revenge ! Cancel it now!

  • Miles R.

The Good Wife was fantastic last night as usual. Hoping the ratings hold or adjust up! This season is truly amazing.

  • Michael

I knew Betryal was bad…but now it’s pulling down Revenge’s Numbers. ABC better figure out a way to fix this soon :(

  • Mark

Revenge has been great so far this season–much better than Good Wife—–and I have watched both!

  • Anthony

Does this mean Revenge will be cancelled by 2014-15 season? I hope not, it’s one of my favorite shows :(

  • pmr

I think Sunday is an impossible situation for just about any show. With The Walking Dead, Football and Specials like the Ocscars/Tonys/Grammy’s and preemptions I just don’t know what could succeed on this night. Not too mention immense competition from HBO and Showtime as well. There are WAY too many good things to watch on one night and so many other nights are so medicore that there is not one thing worth watching or dvr’ing. Seriously Revenge/Good Wife/Football/Walking Dead and the Premium Channels too all at the same time??? Revenge and Good Wife deserve better time slots. 2 excellent shows

  • Starlight

*shrug* OUAT shouldn’t have had made Mulan a lez. End of story.

  • Unfortunately

My husband and I watch Walking Dead on Sundays so I watch Revenge on Mondays after work usually via Hulu. I wish those scores showed on this site also. :(

  • It’s Me

If those football games weren’t playing on Sundays, Revenge wouldn’t be doing so bad. Plus, if ABC were to advertise Revenge more like they did for the season premiere, that would most likely help the ratings. (Especially if they were to air the promo atleast a few times during Scandal) The plot for Revenge is still there, as far as quality goes. Although, it wouldn’t hurt to hurry up with Emily and Daniel’s wedding, Emily’s revenge, and Emily & Jack together again. I would atleast like to see a fourth season to close the show, but really, ratings probably dropped too because Emily’s revenge is taking so long. Maybe she can get her revenge with Victoria and Conrad, and then move her focus to someone else who played a major role in her father’s death. HINT, HINT ABC!!!!!
