Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2013 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Bring Mike Kelley back and move Revenge to wednessday, and the spotlight will be back to Revenge :)))

  • halo

i’m still in love with Revenge no matter what, Revenge is popular in Asia, Europe, and when the episode ends, i can’t wait for the next ep!!! Go Revenge!!!!

  • C Whitty

    @Bad Wolf

That Ghost Whisperer cancellation still hurts me…I felt it was unjustified

    @Old Man

I still believe the first season of The Good Wife is one of the greatest seasons of TV I have ever watched

  • cfsv

I don’t understand why they don’t put Castle on Sundays and try to launch one of their new dramas behind DWTS. Even though DWTS doesn’t have much to offer, I still feel like it would be a better start off point then on Sundays.

  • Networkman

ABC: This network should be making the necessary moves now. Revenge is having a strong season. It has to move back to the 10pm slot and move away from SNF and The Walking Dead. Put it back on Tuesday. It is great counterprogramming against CSI. I feel they share a different audience and NBC does not have any competition in that timeslot. Nashville should be giving a last try behind DWTS. Castle should be able to hold it on now and be moved to Tuesday @9pm behind SHIELD. I’m really upset with the scheduling department at ABC. They don’t have a new hit drama and now they are ruining the two 3rd season dramas that once had a lot of buzz for the network.

Let’s move ABC, this should of been done before November Sweeps
    7 AFHV
    8 Once Upon a Time
9 Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
    10 Betrayal

    8 DWTS
    10 Nashville

    8 SHIELD
    9 Castle
    10 Newsmagazines & Specials

    8 The Middle
    8:30 The Goldbergs
    9 Modern Family
    9:30 Trophy Wife
    10 Revenge

    8 Shark Tank
    9 Grey’s Anatomy
    10 Scandal

    8 Last Man Standing
    8:30 Back in the Game
    9 Super Fun Night
    9:30 The Neighbors
    10 20/20

  • Networkman

FOX: I don’t understand how Bob’s Burgers got picked up for another season. The Simpsons should simply get one more season. I think it will be time to end this after its 26th season. Animation Domination is no longer able to strongly withstand these Football games and all of the cable offerings.

Why do people care so much about football? I don’t get it.

  • anna g

So glad to see The good wife numbers. Maybe it will escape cancellation bear this year again :)

  • Ronak

Revenge will hobble along into syndication. OUAT is a tentpole show on the night for ABC, and while a 2.1 isn’t great, anything above a 2.0 will keep it alive.

Neither show was “killed” by ABC. Clearly the network was looking to attract a female-skewing audience on the night away from the football and TWD, and hence the decision to schedule Betrayal on the same night. It didn’t work because the shows aren’t good enough. Simple.

  • Michelle

So glad the Saints kicked Romo’s butt!

  • andrew

Revenge was do good last night, the show is greater, better now, but the rating is low, WHY???? thank god that revenge got high DVR rating :((

    @ Feedback
Why do people care so much about football? I don’t get it.

First of all, it wasn’t always so dominant. . .at least to the degree it is become in the 21st century.

Three major reasons for this in descending order.

    1) It fits well on the TV screen. It always has but especially well in the 21st century with huge rectangular screens.

    2) The hard hits.
It is a violent game. Our collective pysche likes the potential of toughness. Football permits for organized mayhem,up to and including the potential for a hard hit causing injury. Not serious injury mind you, but enough to lay the player out.

It is not unlike NASCAR which if nothing happens other than a bunch of cars moving around at 180 mph it quickly becomes incredibly boring.
If there was such a thing as a truth lamp that people could go under, you would find that they are rooting for crashes. Football can be similar.

    3) And of course, The 800 lb gorilla in the room.

That, of course, is the gambling. There are 5 different means of scoring
    – Touchdown
    – 1 point extra point
    – 2 point extra point
    – Field goal
    – Safety
The multiple means of scoring – unique among sports – makes the point spread and gambling much more viable and engaging.

Add to that the invention / introduction of computers and smart phones which allow instant results
and you have the phenomenon of Fantasy Football.

It will never, ever happen, nor necessarily should it happen, but if you took the elements of Fantasy Football and (Las Vegas type) point spread betting away from the game, then football would loose 70% of its popularity overnight.

    That’s a fact, Jack!!

  • ethan

yay for The Good Wife. I can’t believe it’s above 10 million now and even the demo are higher than Revenge! I think it’s safe to say season 6 is very likely at this point. Here’s hoping the Emmy will recognize the show again (besides the guest stars)

  • Wright

    :( OUAT. Damn football.

  • PossumSnoodle

Ratings?? Ratings are so 1990. I watch online, beit on the actual network websites or -egads!- via “unofficial” download sources; like thousands upon thousands of other viewers do also. Networks need to develop a more realistic system of viewership rating that is instep with contemporary viewing habits.

Revenge Will Adjust up For Sure ! 2 More Episode Until The Bloody Wedding,It Will Start Rising Up Until the mid season finale on Dec 1st .This sunday’s episode was a filler and wasn’t a disappointment ! I Am A Honest Revenge Fan ! and Surely Revenge will return for a Season 4 And Maybe the 22-Episode Final Season!

  • eh

The problem with Revenge is that it is show with limited room to maneuver based on its premise. So at some point you go with” enough”: “get some traction”!
When a cartoon ( Family Guy) does better than you: you really start wondering.
