    Thanks JaneDoe24

  • THE OLD MAN

    THE GOOD WIFE

    SEASON HIGH 1.7

    YAY!!!!

  • Bradley

I don’t think Scandal was ever meant to be more than a 5 season show. Shonda has said she has a definite path she’s following for the show.

  • s0303

yay for the good wife! could there possibly be a season 6???

  • Wright

    :) OUAT rating held.
Too bad for Revenge fans though.

  • milo

Bad number for Revenge but it would still have to fall a lot more to not make it to another season and syndication. How bad have TGW’s numbers been that 1.7 is way up for the show? It’s always good for a show’s ratings to rise but a 1.7 hardly seems like a sign that a show is safe from getting cancelled.

  • Samunto

    Very happy for TGW.

Now to the sad news, that low for Revenge hurts. I don’t even know what to think anymore.

  • maria

series low for Revenge :( this season IMO is better than the last one, come on, watch it again! but idk if the ratings are because of people got tired of the history or because the walking dead started and people prefer to watch it that live instead of revenge..

  • diana

I still think that revenge is safe for renewal if it falls any lower yikes I will just enjoy it while it lasts

  • Joseph A

Not a great night for ABC where all the shows dropped anywhere from .1 – .4

Steady night for CBS with shows having a .1 variance give or take

Horrible night for FOX with shows dropping between .3 & .6 !

Great night for NBC with an interesting NFL pairing that resulted in a jump of 1.5

SAVE BETRAYAL… THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE DAY AND TIME SLOT… EVERYONE’S WATCHING FOOTBALL ON SUNDAY’S… OR AT LEAST PLAY RE-RUNS OF BETRAYAL, ON A WEEKDAY… THE REPEATS COULD HELP.

  • Carl

CBS destroyed The Menalist. With proper care it could have run for a decade.

My mother started watching The Good Wife again weeks ago after giving up last season, so I will credit the ratings boost with her.

  • willowxandra

    Ouch, 1.3 for Revenge !

  • Ryan T

THE GOOD WIFE RATINGS THIS SEASON:

    1 – 1.5, 9.15
    2 – 1.6, 9.23
    3 – 1.2, 8.46
    4 – 1.4, 8.99
    5 – 1.4, 9.35
    6 – 1.6, 10.22
    7 – 1.7, 10.26

TGW will likely get renewed if it keeps above a 1.5 the rest of the season because that’s what happened last season. And the show is on a creative surge at the moment. CBS won’t want to interfere with that. I could see it being moved away to another night before being cancelled entirely.

The Good Wife beating Revenge? The Good Wife higher than The Mentalist?

  • Ultima

    @Robert
Forgive me if this has been answered before, but I know it has been said that the football is the reason for the higher numbers for CBS when it runs over this much. Where I get confused is when the numbers become “unscrambled”, is football overrun still considered the main reason for the higher ratings?

Yes, having the huge lead-in from football boosts the ratings for most of the line-up, especially 60 Minutes, which starts immediately after football. The Mentalist typically suffers because it airs well into the 11pm hour, when the HUT levels are much lower.

  • Hel-luhr

It’s on a genuine ratings buzz surge! The producers knew what the fans were clamoring for, and they delivered it. What’s so good is that the show was building to this for years, and the story is really rewarding long-term fans while attracting new eyeballs.

  • Markitos

    Go TGW!!! :D :D :D

  • josh

once upon a time beat Family guy hah
