The CW is doing pretty well this season. Stable shows. They must be proud. They should throw in some Friday night comedies. Try something new.

The Goldbergs was HYSTERICAL last night (with their waspy neighbors ‘The Kremps’!).Glad that this great show has found and kept an audience.

I tried to watch Trophy Wife after and just didn’t get it (maybe its a show
    targeted for females?).

DANG for SHIELD. At this rate, it might drop to cancellation numbers by May, allowing one of the midseason shows a chance to steal the pity renewal. The Goldbergs performed well. Again, the show proves to be independent of it’s lead-in, rising despite SHIELD’s tumble. I would not be surprised to see this tried on Wednesdays as it has a lot of potential to rise.

Nice for POI. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it tick up a bit over the next few weeks as the 3-parter gains some buzz.

I’m glad more people are checking out The Goldbergs which was given a difficult timeslot to start with. It NEEDS to be paired with The Middle when ABC announces their midseason lineup. ABC should either tryout Scandal or Shark Tank on Tues instead of comedies. Before too long NBC is scheduled to run 2 new comedies at the same time competing with comedies on ABC & Fox.

Not every show keeps declining in 18-49 through the years.
Like, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory hit peaks several years after debuting.

Very happy about SPN. I wasn’t sure if they’d stay in that .09 area from now on, especially with The Voice doing well. I know some of the boost was from The Originals but not all of it. This was a good episode and one that knew how to use Cas (and this means the people who say Cas kills the ratings get to pout today).

That SPN managed to be, essentially, tied with a popular new show is amazing to me. They’re a good team.

Go Supernatural! The CW has to be loving their Tuesday night!

  • Nasir

CW has to be loving Tuesday nights! I just hope they don’t separate them midseason/next season cause I’m digging this pair a lot!

  • Mike

Enjoyed Stacy Keach as the hardened 70′s-NY cop on B99.Too bad that the ratings went slightly down with his guest appearance.

  • Dante

POI has some incredible episodes coming up that will attract viewers and keep them glued week-on-week due to the nature of the plot. Expect POI to increase as the weeks progress.

ABC, meanwhile, is smart plugging a magic special in @ 930 next Tuesday to keep viewers from changing the channel to NBC @10.

So, all that being said, look for CF to dip next week. It will not keep a 2.2 and it may not reach an actual 2. No one is buzzing about it after last night’s “EPIC” episode that turned out not to be so epic.

    @ Carl

While I completely agree that Cas doesn’t kill the ratings, he also does not help the ratings. He really has no influence on the ratings one way or the other.

People who think he is a ratings influencer are fooling themselves.

  • Alice

How sad that there are over 19 million high school dropouts in the US!

  • Ted Craig

Trophy Wife looks worse and worse.

  • iSayso

    LOL @ the low-bar CW fans :D

  • Carl

Not so low-bar when the other networks are fast reaching this level, or going lower.

@Max, I completely agree, but earlier today I saw a tweet from some person saying that you have to write Cas out and just have the bros to have good ratings. That tends to annoy me.

  • Originalsfan

    Originals is Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ;D

  • spinthesky

    Go Mindy!! :)

  • LANDO’S SON

Good for Person Of Interest, for holding steady with a 2.0 demo and over 12 million total viewers, here’s hoping for even better next week. POI IS EPIC TELEVISION!!!

  • Edward

The fact is CF is doing a higher number behind The Voice than Revolution did in the back half of the Spring, than Smash did for most of its run and Grimm did for the few weeks it was behind The Voice. NBC has improved that timeslot. It’s winning 10pm most weeks. Good for them.

  • jj

Agent Shield numbers is looking pretty sad. What a big disappointed. So much potential. All they had to do was find some half competent player. How they manage to do such a disastrous job in casting all the new agents is beyond me.
