I can’t believe in some comments I’m reading here.

Castiel isn’t a main character and Misha isn’t one of the leads. Misha is a current guest star, not a lead. There is a huge difference.

As for the ratings, Castiel doesn’t help or hurt the ratings. Just see the 9.04 and other episodes ratings, for example, it proves that general viewers want to watch the show, they don’t care about online rage (whatever faction you’re in the fence), thankfully. All this fight or gloat over it is ridiculous.

nice tie on the cw! their tuesday is on par with last year’s wednesday and arrow is still strong. good for cw for finally starting to turn things around.

    go mindy! go mindy!

The Mindy Project is a good show but it’s doing terrible. I only watched the first episode this season, though. Too many shows not enough time.

Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D is still doing okay but It should hoover around a 2.5 if ABC wants to pick it up for season two. I happen to like this show and I’m happy ABC went with a full season.

I know ABC must of renewed Trophy Wife due to good reviews and I think the combo of these two comedies is still doing better than Happy Endings and Don’t Trust The B! from last year.

NCIS skews so unbelievably old! I wonder what the commercials are when it’s on? because it never got more than 20 minutes or so of my time.

Terra Nova also two seasons ago – standards are different now. If AOS held at a 2.2 I might see it getting a second season, but I don’t see it holding there. Despite lower ratings, The Goldbergs is definitely a highlight for ABC, as its has held onto a good chunk of its audience even as its lead-in has shrunk. It needs a Wednesday try-out.

I’m thinking all FOX Sitcoms are going to be renewed, they are all pretty steady and if they stay this way I doubt FOX will cancel any of them.

  • Danny

POI may not be getting the ridiculous demo numbers, but you can’t scoff at a 5 million viewer gap between POI and CF!

    @ Brio

Actually Misha Collins is not just a guest star at least not this season. He is a series regular and if you watch the credits at the opening of each episode he appears in this season it states Starring Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins. So yes he is not a lead like Jared and Jensen but neither is his role this season at least merely another guest star.

If you are going to tell others off for spreading incorrect information make sure you have it correct yourself.

How sad that there are over 19 million high school dropouts in the US!

Is this another pathetic slam against CBS viewers?

CF is doing a higher number behind The Voice than Revolution did in the back half of the Spring

    Is it Spring already?

  • AllOfHerTw!st

I can’t watch Person of Interest with Shaw on board. As soon as they dump her I will watch again.

Maybe Shaw could die while saving Fusco?

    :-) ;-)

“look for CF to dip next week”

Or considering your last prediction was completely wrong, look for it to do something else. Of course when you turn out to be wrong again, you won’t acknowledge it, just like now when it’s pointed out you were wrong last time, you have no response and just ignore it.

  • tv_viewer

“Maybe Shaw could die while saving Fusco?”

Sarah Shahi was promoted to the regular cast for one season. I doubt that Shaw would die before half of season 3 has been completed.

I have a feeling that with the head of HR being outed, Person of Interest doesn’t need Fusco anymore for its stories. Hence Fusco is expendable.

Every time I see Supernatural’s ratings I gotta give a smile. So much for those Castiel haters, saying the won’t watch anymore because Misha Collins is a regular again. You ask any of them and they always say most fans hate that character. I always tell them that’s not true and they insist it is. Same with those who think the writing has gone downhill since Jeremy Carver took the reigns last season (it was seasons 6-7 that floundered in their long game). Again they said they won’t watch anymore – again the ratings rise anyway.

Not every episode is gold, but no show is perfect every week. For Supernatural to increase ratings opposite one of the most strongly scheduled days of the week (if not THE strongest schedule) for the other networks just shows how Supernatural has come back into its own. They’re getting a 10th season. Mark my words.

Great for SPN, and terrible for AoS (still not at it’s bottom).

  • thesnowleopard

The only people who count are Nielsen viewers and maybe online fans if the TPTB are looking for free feedback to tweak the show.

The great unwashed masses of offline fans in neither category might as well not exist as far as the show’s ratings and renewal chances are concerned, so you might as well stop invoking them.

As for the Nielsen and online fans, they like Castiel. That’s why the ratings don’t drop when an episode is about him.

  • Bobby-Flixer

Please get cancelled Agents Of Shield.

  • Bear1000

Not looking too good for “Agents of Shield”. In all fairness, they built the show up like it was going to be mind blowing and it’s actually okay at best, certainly not something where I’m dying to see the next episode, unlike say “The Blacklist”.

  • ludotv

Well done CW – I don’t watch those shows but good to see they are doing good

And YAY Mindy!!! We want you back next year!

  • Rebecca

I wish almost all of those Emmy statements were true (I agree with most of them), and add Mindy Project to the list of potential noms, too – but sadly, since the cable shows are lumped in with the broadcast network shows at Emmy nod time, not many broadcast shows wind up nominated any more. I wish they’d just bring back the Cable ACE Awards and keep the cable shows separate from the broadcast net shows with their own awards.

Mindy’s cast and writing are so funny, I watch most episodes twice.

  • Patrice

Person of Interest is the best show on TV. Tuesday started a 3 part series and I just wanted it to go into the next 2 hours. It’s getting better and better.

  • merl

Why are people in these comments celebrating about The Mindy Project? It ticked up a tenth from the preliminary ratings, but that doesn’t change the fact that it fell this week. lol Scratching my head at this.
