New York, NY, November 14, 2013 –HISTORY® announces the kick-off of Kennedy Week across digital platforms – a week-long campaign commemorating the 50th anniversary of the John F. Kennedy Assassination http://www.history.com/shows/jfk-specials. Beginning Monday, November 18, HISTORY.com will publish daily original articles across all editorial franchises, offering unique views of the assassination that changed a nation.
In addition, starting on Monday, November 18, HISTORY will host the “JFK Twitter Takeover” at https://twitter.com/HISTORY – giving viewers a fresh take on the pivotal moments of the Kennedy assassination as they unfolded 50 years ago – hour by hour, day by day - through a live tweeting event. For eight days, HISTORY.com will travel with the President and his as they depart Washington, D.C. for Texas, the motorcade and their return to the capital as a nation mourns.
