Scandal Episode 303

via press note:

ABC Thursday Prime (8-11pm – 7.0 million and 2.1/6 in AD18-49): ABC delivered a strong 2nd-place finish on Thursday in Adults 18-49, leading Fox by 50% (1.4/4) and NBC by 91% (1.1/3). In Adults 18-49, ABC’s Scandal once again ranked as the #2 TV series of the night, behind only CBS’ The Big Bang Theory.  In addition, Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy were the Top 2 dramas of the night.

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (8-9pm – 3.7 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): From 8-9pm, ABC’s Once Upon a Time in Wonderland was up week to week in Total Viewers (+3%) and held even in Adults 18-49.

Grey’s Anatomy (9-10pm – 8.4 million and 2.6/7 in AD18-49): Nearly tripling its lead-in at 9pm (+189%), ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy won its hour by wide margins in Adults 18-49, outdelivering CBS’ comedies by 24% (The Crazy Ones/Two and a Half Men = 2.1/6), Fox’s Glee by 73% (1.5/4) and NBC’s comedies by 160% (Sean Saves the World/The Michael J Fox Show = 1.0/3). Grey’s Anatomy paced within 1-tenth of its week-ago Adult 18-49 number.

Scandal (10-11pm – 8.9 million and 2.9/8 in AD18-49): Finishing a dominant #1 during the 10 o’clock hour among Adults 18-49 and growing week to week (+4%), ABC’s Scandal matched the combined deliveries of CBS’ Elementary (1.6/5) and NBC’s Parenthood (1.3/4). Scandal was up sharply over the same night last year (6.0 million and 2.0/6 on 11/15/12) in Total Viewers (+48%) and Adults 18-49 (+45%). In fact Scandal is the fastest-growing returning series this season with young adults and is ABC’s top-rated program in the Thursday 10pm hour since Lost during the 2007-08 season.

I love how ABC makes all their shows seem like they are gonna get renewed. whoever the writers are for the ABC press release should start writing the actual plot for the shows as they could make the shows better

Scandal is winning its timeslot each week..

  • Matt M.

What are you talking about? Scandal and Greys were the #1 dramas of the night, both winning their hours across all demos and viewers by wide margins. ABC has a right to brag about them. They are doing extremely well.

@Matt M, I was taking about in general abc post a positive note about every one of their shows even the one which is failing

John, they are as bad as NBc, where a show with a 1.2 demo is called a “breakout phenomenon ” of the year. LOL
