Raising Hope October 2, 2012

Raising Hope premieres tonight at 9PM, with two back-to-back episodes airing following a new episode of Bones. Its previous season finale aired as two back-to-back episodes on Thursday March 28 with the first earning a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and the second earning a 1.2. The previous season premiere on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 garnered a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Raising Hope faces an uphill battle tonight, Its been off the air for a long time and it faces competition from Friday's highest rated show Shark Tank and Grimm, a genre show with an established, loyal fanbase. So how do you think Raising Hope will fare tonight? Make your prediction for the 9PM episode!

@ Rooserhead: I sure don’t think Fox is concerned with offending Seth. His brand is steadily fading from overexposure. Plus, that guy is really thick-skinned and businesslike, tough to offend.

    Go Hope!!

  • Katiebug

    I think RH will get a 1.3 or 1.4

  • Alex J

Competition is the worst. I love Raising Hope and Grimm, and I watch Hawaii 5-0.
My viewing habits are going to be influenced by DVR-Hulu-On Demand this night.

Moving Bones and Raising Hope to fridays is very Stupid!

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with horrible ratings and FOX is moving to shows with potencial to fridays?

Please someone explain this to me, i don’t understand!!!

My bet Bones 1.8, RH 1.4.

Friday needs a “female” oriented lineup. All networks are showing male-oriented shows.

I had forgotten it was returning until I saw this poll. I’m sure many other viewers have forgotten as well. Glad I saw this though, it’s one of my favorites. I’ll say a 1.1. Definitely the last season to just prep it for syndication

  • Bradley

This is a show that could do really well in syndication on FXX.

  • HalCapone

It’s a Friday night premier. Viewing patterns already established. Shark Tank is invincible. End of a story.

  • ToXiX

0.9-1.2 it won’t be any higher this show is dead. It wouldn’t do any better on Tuesdays either.

  • JoshuaCanada

I’m saying a 0.9. I love raising hope but i saw no promotion for it this year plus it’s against Grimm and Shark Tank. I’m personally going to record it and watch after Grimm and Dracula.

  • Mike

    It’s gonna be ugly!

    0.9-1.0

  • TVMAN

If it avgs above 1.0, it’ll get renewed

  • david

I think it will get a 1.2 then a 1.1 tonight. I agree the people that watch CBS, NBC and ABC will not change and the Top Model finally is tonight on the CW witch i thnk will get a .5.

  • THE OLD MAN

I’m hoping it can maintain that 1.1 to 1.2

    @ joel

With so many sitcoms “tanking” this year, I hope you’re not right!

  • Networkman

I’m really rooting for Raising Hope. In my opinion, beside the new Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it is FOX’s funniest sitcom. This is its season premiere so I’m guessing it premieres with 1.3 or 1.4. If it can maintain low 1′s throughout the season it should be renewed. FOX would have to consider it is airing on Friday and garnering the same ratings as the comedies on Tuesday.

    Bones 1.6
    Raising Hope 1.3 or 1.4

  • JONNYSBRO

It doesn’t make sense to me that FOX would move bones which IMO does well on Monday’s and not move the x factor to Fridays. The best thing for them to do is just move bones to Thursday’s before glee and then dump the x factor Friday nights. Lose the results show and do what dancing with the stars is doing. X factor should be burned off on Fridays. It’s ratings are horrific.

  • HeadlessHorseman

    Last Man Standing: 1.5
    Neighbors: 1.1
    Shark Tank: 2.0

    Hawaii Five-0: 1.4
    Blue Bloods: 1.3

    Grimm: 1.4
    Dracula: 0.8

    The Carrie Diaries: 0.2

    Bones: 1.6
    Raising Hope: 1.2

  • brian

1.2. I don’t see much hope for Raising in its timeslot. Might have had a better chance had it premiered in September, but now I don’t think it will gain traction. Also, going low because I don’t want to be taunted in Saturday for predicting too high.
