WEIGHT WATCHERS COOKS UP A COMPETITION WITH ABC’S “THE CHEW” IN WHICH CULINARY PROFESSIONALS WILL FACE OFF FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN
A $75,000 CONSULTING AGREEMENT WITH WEIGHT WATCHERS
Weight Watchers International, Inc. (NYSE: WTW) today unveiled a partnership with ABC’S food and lifestyle show “The Chew” to host the competition, “The Chew Search for the Weight Watchers Chef.” The winner will be an enthusiastic culinary professional with a passion for making great tasting food that can support a healthy lifestyle.
As part of the competition, entrants will enter on TheChew.com. Six talented and experienced culinary professionals will be selected to appear on “The Chew” to showcase their skills in developing and preparing healthy, delicious dishes. But only one contestant will win a $75,000, one-year consulting contract with Weight Watchers as the Weight Watchers Chef.

Whether they’ve graduated from or taught at a culinary school, cooked in restaurants, served as a private chef or caterer, or worked as a recipe developer, culinary professionals of all kinds with a love for creating delicious, healthy meals are encouraged to enter.

The Cook-Off Competition:
Beginning January 15, “The Chew Search for the Weight Watchers Chef” will feature themed culinary challenges during which the finalists must impress the judges with great-tasting, healthy recipes. The judging panel will be comprised of “The Chew” co-hosts and a Weight Watchers representative. The finalists will battle it out in a tournament-style competition, leaving just the top competitors to face off in the finale for the grand prize.
