Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of November 11, 2013 to November 17, 2013

 

·         This week, the Univision Network ranked #4 or higher versus English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) on five nights among Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.  

 

·         On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, out-delivering FOX and NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

·         On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, FOX, and NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü  The finale of Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “La Tempestad” (The Storm) averaged 4.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.3 Million Adults 18-49, and 992,000 Adults 18-34.  It was the highest rated program of the evening among Adults 18-49.

 

·         On Saturday night, “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.1 Million, +8%) and Adults 18-49 (768,000, +8%).

 

·         On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which covered the life of drug kingpin Amado Carrillo.  “Aqui y Ahora” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.9 Million, +26%), Adults 18-49 (1.2 Million, +37%), and Adults 18-34 (522,000, +83%).

 

ü  Airing at 8 p.m., “¡Mira Quién Baila!”  (Look Who’s Dancing) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.9 Million, +4%), Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million, +8%), and Adults 18-34 (715,000, +12%).  In its tenth week, “¡Mira Quién Baila!” is outpacing its prior season performance among Total Viewers 2+ (+6%).

 

ü  Following “¡Mira Quién Baila!” at 10:04 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.2 Million, +9%), Adults 18-49 (1.5 Million, +8%), and Adults 18-34 (556,000, +2%).

 

·         At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) helped Univision rank as the #2 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.4 Million, +2%), Adults 18-49 (2.1 Million, +2%), and Adults 18-34 (1.1 Million, +11%).

 

·         Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “La Tempestad” (The Storm), which ended on Friday evening, helped Univision rank as the #3 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #4 among Adults 18-49.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.2 Million, +22%), Adults 18-49 (2.0 Million, +20%), and Adults 18-34 (972,000, +18%).

 

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Mentir Para Vivir” (Lie So You Can Live) helped Univision rank as the #3 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  The novela saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.8 Million, +13%), Adults 18-49 (1.4 Million, +9%), and Adults 18-34 (636,000, +6%).
