Once Upon A Time was the top broadcast show on GetGlue, and The Walking Dead was the top cable show for the week of November 11-17. Remember: a show's social media popularity does not correlate to its renewal prospects and/or actual ratings.

    Why is it that the cw is popular in social media but cannot get the same ratings on tv. can someone explain please

  • Mia

    @tvd

    Social media is worldwide
    CW ratings only USA

  • Raul

    @tvd
    Basically what Mia said, but the only different is that the CW shows could be #1 in many counties, but if no is watching then in the US, then they get cancelled. So it’s up to Americans to watch and get the shows renewed.

    BTW, go Once Upon A Time!

    The target audience of most CW shows (teenage girls) are also the most active on social media. Twitter and such is basicly 75% Beliebers, Monsters, Katycats etc. if not more.

    Bones is in its 9th season and still one of the top shows! Hooray.

  • tj

    That’s low for SPN. It usually places 1st on weeks with new episodes. Ratings were down a wee bit too. Good job OUAT. Getting people to talk that is.

  • Chris

    OUAT deserves that spot IMO, I have never seen a show that is written out as good as this one.
