Good for Shield, shows actually are getting better, writers are making it more suspenseful and fun and interesting. Hope it is renewed.

  • Networkman

FOX should be moving Raising Hope back to Tuesday. NBC should be concerned with Chicago Fire. It’s performance look rather poor behind The Voice. It drops over 4 million viewers and 1.3 in the demo. It would be at Law & Order:SVU’s level(mid 1’s) if it were not behind The Voice. I feel The Blacklist is less dependent on The Voice than Chicago Fire.

Also ABC’s special should show the network that viewers are willing to tune in if they put on something that is of interest. S.H.I.E.L.D garnering a 4.7 for its series premiere shows that the viewers of the all important demo is willing to sample an ABC show. The product has to be of quality to keep them coming back.

Chicago Fire doesn’t deserve the slot probably.

However, there isn’t an obvious show that does deserve it, so it’s not too bad.

  • Gaius Bolling

was i the only one who didn’t know about the thor tie in on shield last night? lol i didn’t see it promoted.

  • Ryan

Chicago Fire was amazing last night, best episode of the season so far

  • Aly

What’s with all the hate watchers. That’s when you know people watch too much TV, if they can’t even turn it off if they don’t like what’s on. Sad. Bad as gamers who whine about games but keep playing them.

  • Aly

And yeah, the Thor tie in wasn’t that heavily promoted, and they made it clear that it would just relate to the aftermath, not, like, feature any of the characters….though part of me did wonder if that was a ruse like the Samuel L Jackson thing.

  • Aly

Billiam, killing major characters off in the middle of seasons isn’t new. Happened on Buffy and Angel, and I’m pretty sure Lost and Alias as well. Not a game changer..

  • Theisssuesarenow

Yeah lost killed off the siblings. that won best drama and so should POI and before the 2.0 kills it!

  • ron

@hal “moderate rating” for NCIS this year; you are a sore loser who cannot stand the success of NCIS; while network ratings have fallen, the NCIS juggernaut continues to be #1. If you really want to see what NCIS LA can do on its own, put it on at 8pm and give it a try; it’s not a true test to put it behind Rudolph.

  • mary

Funny you mention Lost & Alias-both started by JJ Abrams-just like POI.
So for those upset over Root & Shah….on Lost they listened to viewers when viewers didn’t care for “certain” characters-by killing them off.

  • Refrain

There seems to be a belief among some on the POI facebook page that Carter was the show, and that without her the show will lose all of its viewers. ;)

Guess we’ll be seeing CW level numbers next week :( lol

  • mary

I wasn’t referring to Carter. I was talking about Root & Shah, because some people do not like those characters.

  • Refrain

Yeah sorry I know, I was just adding to what you were saying. Apologies that I wasn’t clear.

  • gregg

Couple things to note. First of all, Gaga is dead. Her career is over. The Madonna wannabe should crawl in her egg and fly far, far away. What she should do is ask god for forgiveness. Secondly, Singing reality are loosing steam fast. The voice will be matching DWTS demo by next year.

  • mary

    Thank you.

  • gerry

    god i hate david blaine.

  • Hel-luhr

Would love to hear how the Thor advertising for AoS actually misled people. I thought it was clear that it was essentially an aftermath thing. And that’s what we got: a scene at the beginning, repeated mentions during the show, and an Asgardian-based plot.

Anyone who expected Thor himself to show up was smoking the good crack!

  • Ryan

SHIELD was really good last night. Ming-Na Wen is starting to carry this show.

  • AllOfHerTw!st

I don’t think this harm[s] NCIS LA. Nothing screams American family values and Christmas yuletide like some good old fashioned serial killers, yellow crime scene tape and chalk mark outlines around victims bodies, following a story about Santa and his reindeer

You’re more likely to see shootouts with terrorists on NCIS: LA than chalk outlines or serial killers. The show isn’t CSI or Criminal Minds.
