    “Criminal Minds” was, in my opinion, a very powerful episode. The promos looked good, but the episode was great. It was probably the best episode to deal with racism that I’ve seen of any show. Excellent writing, and the acting was beyond great.
    Season 9 looks to be a keeper for sure. Episodes like “Final Shot,” “The Return,” and last night’s are proof of that.

    “CSI” was also great. Glad to see Nick back. I find it humorous that they never really mention why he was gone or why he’s back. He’s just there, then gone, and suddenly back.
    Most people probably knew why George was gone for a few episodes, but I wonder why they didn’t take time to mention it in the series for his character’s sake…? Unless I missed something, of course. I’ll admit that I sometimes get preoccupied and miss something in the show.

    That CM episode reminded me almost of a stage play, having really only the 2 sets: the farm house and the interrogation room. But it was very powerful!

    @AllOfHerTw!st;

    Yeah, I guess it did seem that way. I kind of liked that about it because it was mostly focused on the interrogations and psychology instead of having the team going abroad to find the UnSub.
    I liked the small-scale feeling it had. Felt more real to me, I guess.

    Yes,this does seem to be a good season so far as the writing goes.
    The only downside for me is all the focus on JJ, as I absolutely can’t stand that character.

    It was explained in the show that Nick was chosen for a special assignment at Quantico. This was mentioned in the 300th episode.

    To each is own I guess, Debra.

    I really love this season and I also really love JJ (though honestly all the characters are great).

    And yes, very good episode!
