Weekday Encore Airings of B&B to Begin Monday, Dec. 2 at 6:30 PM, ET/PT

LOS ANGELES — Nov. 21, 2013 — TVGN (TV Guide Network) will become the exclusive cable home to television’s most-watched daytime drama series in the world, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL (B&B), starting on Monday, Dec. 2.

TVGN will encore the prior day’s B&B episode weekdays at 6:30 PM, ET/PT, immediately preceding TVGN’s encore airings of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (weekdays at 7:00 PM, ET/PT). In addition, fans can catch up on all five of the prior week’s most recent episodes on TVGN every Sunday from 11:00 AM, ET/PT-1:30 PM, ET/PT starting on Sunday, Dec. 8.

“THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL has been one of the most popular daytime dramas on television for more than two decades, and now, for the first time ever, the series will be making its cable TV debut, giving loyal viewers more opportunities to catch up on their favorite show,”  said Brad Schwartz, President, Entertainment and Media, TVGN.  ”THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has made TVGN one of the top female networks in the country, weekdays at 7pm.  It only made sense to give B&B fans what they've been demanding from us.”

“I am looking forward to a successful partnership with TVGN,” said Bradley Bell, Executive Producer and Head Writer of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. “Our fans have asked us for an opportunity to watch a second run. I’m delighted that we will now be able to fulfill that desire with such an esteemed cable network.”

In 2011, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL received its third consecutive Emmy® award for “Outstanding Daytime Drama Series”.  In 2010, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL was named the Most Popular Daytime Soap Currently on TV by Guinness World Records® and in 2013 received its eighth consecutive Golden Nymph Award at the International TV Audience Awards in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category at the Monte Carlo Television Festival.  THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is the most watched daytime drama series in the world, seen daily by more than 35 million people in over 100 countries.

THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, which celebrated its 26th anniversary on March 23, 2013, is produced by Bell-Phillip Television Productions, Inc., and is broadcast weekdays (1:30-2:00 PM, ET; 12:30-1:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. Bradley Bell is the Executive Producer and Head Writer.

Hope GH and Days will make it there to since ABC is shutting down Soapnet. Its sad since a lot of people watch soapnet and some even watch reruns of the soaps on it.

  • KansasGuest

GH doesn’t need a different channel like TVGN to replay its new episodes. Right now, viewers can see it on cable with ABC’s On Demand listings, or watch it online with Hulu & abc.com. All are free. I don’t know if Y&R, B&B or DAYS are on Hulu or On Demand.

  • Mike

Alot of people are with GH on Hulu and ABC.com the same way they were with AMC and OLTL — they don’t want to watch it on the computer.

And not everyone gets on demand either. If you have satellite you have to have a special hookup to access On Demand.

So it would help GH big time to have a cable outlet too.

Happy for their fans. My ATT UVerse doesn’t carry TVGN. I’m so gonna miss SoapNet when it’s gone. I personally don’t mind watching online, but at least I can DVR my stories.

TVGN is owned by CBS which is why Y&R/B&B are on there…DAYS/GH will probably never air on TVGN.

  • ShawninDayton

Days might because they’re produced by the same people that produces y&r, gh on the other hand i don’t see that happening
