14TH ANNUAL LATIN GRAMMY® AWARDS REACHES 9.8 MILLION VIEWERS AND MAKES UNIVISION A TOP 3 NETWORK FOR THE NIGHT AMONG BOTH ADULTS 18-49 AND ADULTS 18-34

NEW YORK – NOVEMBER 22, 2013 – The biggest names in Latin music gathered last night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas for the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards, while 9.8 million viewers tuned in to all or part of the three-hour live broadcast on the Univision Network. Last night’s event delivered an average audience of 4.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.4 million Adults 18-49 and 1.2 million Adults 18-34 and positioned Univision as the No. 2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS, NBC and FOX. It also made Univision the No. 3 broadcast network for the entire night among Adults 18-49, ahead of NBC and FOX.
The Latin GRAMMY Awards on Univision attracted more Hispanic viewers in the demographic groups of Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 than the combined audience of the 2013 editions of the “Billboard Music Awards,” “MTV Video Music Awards” and the “Country Music Awards.”

SOCIAL MEDIA HIGHLIGHTS:
The telecast ranked as the No. 1 social broadcast TV program by unique authors and Tweets, delivering more social activity than NFL Football, ABC’s “” and FOX’s “ ” on Nov. 21. Univision Network also ranked as the No. 1 Social TV network on Nov. 21 across all of broadcast and cable, based on unique authors Tweeting about programs on the network. According to Nielsen SocialGuide, @LatinGRAMMYs was the most mentioned program account across all of Twitter TV.
On Twitter, Carlos Vives, Marc Anthony and Pablo Alborán were among the most mentioned artists of the night with Yandel, Carlos Vives, Pitbull and Wisin being the top celebrity hashtags of the telecast. On Facebook, top moments of the telecast were Wisin y Yandel reuniting and performing together again after both pursuing solo careers, Pitbull’s performance with Enrique Iglesias and El Cata, as well as Peruvian artist Gianmarco.
First-of-its-kind digital and social television integrations at the Awards ceremony allowed fans unique opportunities to connect with their favorite stars. Fans were also able to Tweet their favorite moments and congratulate the stars throughout the “Noche de Estrellas” and the Latin GRAMMY broadcast as well by sending their questions using the hashtag #LatinGrammy. Fans counted on the latest updates from the show’s social media correspondent and Univision personality, Alejandra Espinoza. Now in its sixth consecutive year from Las Vegas, this year’s Latin GRAMMY Awards, co-hosted by actors Omar Chaparro and Blanca Soto along with actor/singer Lucero showcased a number of performances by Latin music’s top stars.
