Tonight sees the premiere of  the final season of Nikita. Last year's season premiere earned an anemic 0.3 adults 18-49 rating, and the finale didn't fare much better with a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating. Will fans show up to see the first episode of Nikita's final season? Or will the premiere set a new low for the series? Make your predictions below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments!

    Can a show get a 0.0?…..i will say 0.1. Nobody ever seemed to care about this show anyway. I’m amazed its still on.

  • Brandon

    I have no idea how Nikita will do, but excited to see these last 6 episodes. I love these kinds of shows (Nikita, Alias, etc.), I hope one of the nets gives us another good spy show soon!

  • thesnowleopard

    I was being kind and gave it a 0.4. Then I saw it’s on at 9pm and remembered it was getting 0.2s, there last year.

    So, if it gets a 0.4, it’ll be lucky. Not that the CW cares. This night reeks of burnoff.

  • jake

    Could this show have a Breaking Bad ratings surge? I don’t think so, but maybe will be up from last year, maybe a 0.4 or a 0.5.

  • Ryann

    Last year It did worse at 9 than at 8 but I actually think it’ll stay consistent all season long at a 0.4

  • thesnowleopard

    @jake

    You’re comparing this to Breaking Bad? Seriously? The difference here should be obvious, namely, that Breaking Bad was a successful show that went out on its own terms. No surprise it got a last-season ratings surge.

  • thesnowleopard

    @Ryann

    Starting close to Thanksgiving and burning off in December on Fridays, in a spot where it previously tanked? Well, one can dream, I guess.

  • Pepper

    Nikita did AWFUL at 9pm last fall. I’m guessing a 0.3 if it’s lucky. Maybe even a 0.2

  • Chris J

    Premiering again The Hunger Games won’t do Nikita any favors.

  • gerry

    @ oscar t – nikita has been around long enough that i’d say the tcd lead in is kind of irrelevant. devoted fans will watch. 0.3, maaaaaaybe 0.4

  • Joseph

    The new “Hunger Games” movie is going to take a big bite out of all prime-time TV ratings tonight (November 22nd), and the CW may be hurt more than any other network.

    “Nikita”‘s premiere may only attract a 0.1 in the 18-49 demo; in fact, I doubt any broadcast network program will do better than a 1 in that demo

    Enjoy it sweetheart. No NIKITA next season for you to pick on.

  • AniMatsuri

    I’m surprised at the optimistic votes so far. There are that many who think it’ll get a 0.4 rating?

  • Alan

    0.2 or a 0.3, and if it does bad, don’t blame TCD, it was sucking by itself lol

  • thesnowleopard

    @Dave
    Do you promise to take your bad-show cray-cray far away from here once Nikita’s gone, or will you latch onto some other underperforming show to obsess about and ream people out for stating the obvious about its chances?

    Just curious.

  • Networkman

    I know these are the last 6 episodes so the network really doesn’t care if it does well. I do wish the CW would of respected the show and its fans more. The final episodes airing during the holiday season is ridiculous. This is the final weekend before Thanksgiving and also the Hunger Games is being released. And then the series finale airs on December 27th. Viewers are not really watching regular programming at this time. I would of preferred Nikita final 6 episodes airing in January before the Olympics games and ending with 2 hour series finale.

    I’m predicting .3 demo.

    Love this show.!! My Husband and I are not even in your published age group. We’re by far older, but we have been fans of Nikita since it started. Pathetic how good shows like Nikita are cancelled and awful shows like those sitcoms with stupid canned laughter are on for idiots!! I never understood and never paid attention to Nielsen ratings. Who are rating these shows anyways? 10 year olds??? And old bitties from the catskills who thinks I Love Raymond is hilarious??How long was that on, 30 years??Good shows like Nikita with good story lines and great dialogues not to mention how great Maggie Q is in her role, never get the chance to thrive. So next I will hear that they’re canceling Arrow and Tomorrow people too??!!!! Pathetic these rating business!!

    If you must know, Nikita was the first and last low rated show I went “cray-cray” for. So to answer you narcissistic question, yes I will stop obsessing once NIKITA is over.

    The satisfaction that it lasted 4 years when you predicted it would last only 1 puts a smile on my face longer than Jared and Jenson combined.

    .5. Final season gives it a buzz.

  • Ekras

    26.4!
