NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

With this raitings , 90210 was should need to be renewed last yaer for final last season !! I want another last season !!!!!!!!!! it was get better raitings!!!! and if the cw can get Nikita with 0.2 so they need to get also 90210 last season with 0.2-0.3 and maybe even 0.4! when it was on Monday at 8 it get 0.4-0.6 ( better than carrie diaries in Monday and Friday ) , and when it was at 9 it get 0.3-0.2 !

    Happy Saturday!!!

I don’ t know if anyone has ever pointed this out before but Friday night sure is a tough night to be on. Maybe it’s because people go out on Fridays. Saturday is tough too.

Undercover Boss clip show was amazing. I had totally forgotten about some of those stories. Color me inspired to get out there and do something good today!

Bones… rock solid. Last Man Standing… hilarious as always. Blue Bloods… I was on the edge of my seat.

Where were you the day JFK died… meh.

I predict Raising Hope keeps going up each week as more of their fans realize they are on Friday nights. In a month it could be getting higher ratings then their Tuesday night comedies. It’s such an amazing cast. Haven’t seen last night’s eps yet but I have some pancakes on the skillet and the DVR is ready to go.

Too much great TV too little time. Am I right?

Have a great weekend fellow commenters!

  • John A

Lol at Nikita not even a .3 for the premiere. Thats why nikita fans you didnt get a full season 4.

  • Dan S

I’m happy for Bones fans but disappointed RH couldn’t have risen further. Not surprised by Nikita’s numbers but who cares ? The show is ending regardless how it did last night.

  • chloe

Is 1.2 good for Fridays, someone please answer.

  • Doug Blatt

1.2 is awesome for Fridays. Fridays are tough. Real tough. And a 1.2 is nothing sneeze at.

    Hang in there sister.

  • s0303

no wonder “where were you when jfk died?” did bad in the demo…anyone who was anywhere is already outside the 18-49 range :) i’m surprised it managed a 1.1…

good rebound for bones…i guess several people didn’t know it was on last friday…

looks like not many people care how nikita will end…

  • Michelle

Shut up Nikita haters! It’s no fricking suprise
Of it’s ratings nobody cares about Nikita’s ratings the cw
Is only giving it a closure
    Who cares..
If The cw were smart it wouldn’t bring any of this falls Monday and Friday lineup next year!

  • Tim

Wow Anna , sorry to burst your bubble but H50 didn’t gain any demo numbers after UB. See the half hours.
It didn’t help BB at all. BB is the real winner here. It maintained the same demo and got one of the biggest viewerships at 10 PM. And that without needing again a popular name to help the clearly lack of talent in the cast.

Absolute nonsense. I saw Nikita promoted plenty and I don’t even watch the CW that much. People were aware it was coming back. They just didn’t care.

And saying The Hunger Games hurt the show’s return gets into Fan Excuse Bingo territory. Unless Nikita actually skews much younger, rather than older, than the average CW show, there isn’t much overlap in the audience there.

As for not caring about ratings, um, yeah, we do. It’s a ratings site not a fan site. Even you are here, posting about them, so one must assume you do care, your protesting aside.

More to the point, how the network deals with low-performing shows like Nikita affects how we judge the ratings of all shows on the network. For example, if Nikita and TCD are on Fridays for getting 0.3s and 0.4s, and Nikita is only getting a six-episode fourth season, that tells us how low a demo the network is willing to tolerate for its second season and even syndication-seeking fourth-season shows. Which means we can make a better educated guess on what somewhat-higher-rating shows will come back next fall.

So, yeah, it *is* relevant to those of us who are here to discuss ratings and not rant or gloat about our favorite show.

  • thesnowleopard

Gee, Shaneeka and Michelle, you think there might be a reason why posters on here think Nikita fans are a little rabid? Try rereading your posts.

  • Last Words

Wonder if Fox would ever consider flipping RH and Bones. Seems Bones could hold it’s own a little better in the 9 o’clock hour where RH is just getting smoked. They’re probably just content to let it die.

  • Fake Me Out

Where Were You the Day JFK Died … on a grassy knoll in Dallas, why do you ask?

  • s0303

Nikita recieved very very little promotion so obviously it was gonna do poorly lol. The only promotion it really got was a short clip they put out online

nice try alex…but i saw several nikita commercials on the cw during arrow and reign :)

  • Barry

I don’t understand why so many people on this site have to hate on a show
Because of it’s terrible ratings. Nikita is a good show and it USED TO be popular.
All you haters are probably bitching teenagers that haven’t even watched the show!

  • chloe

@ Doug Blatt thank you for answering my question so anything below 1 is bad.

  • Noel

Nikita didn’t go out with a bang because of its horrible hour placement and terrible lead in.

  • Fake Me Out

“Nikita is the only show on The Cw that should attract to more adults.” – the posts here clearly do not reflect that. If anything they reflect the show attracts children under 18. And yes, the ratings do not matter for Nikita now. The CW will air the final episodes even with a .2 (or possibly lower). However, the ratings to indicate that The CW made the correct business decision in ending the show. The fans may have been rabid but their numbers are extremely low.

  • Hello

Nobody cares about Nikita. Let it rest in peace. lovers and haters!
