NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

For more information see Numbers 101 and Numbers 102.

This is what FOX must have been hoping for: that Bones’ fans follow it. But those 3 tenths might be from those who fled the Undercover Boss clipshow.

Either way great for Bones. Even the total viewer figures are close to Monday levels.

  • Michael

Nikita Did Bad. PERIOD. Let it go, people.

  • r0ckmypants

Pretty bad for Nikita, but obviously about what The CW had to expect when they debuted the season a week or two before most other shows are going on hiatus.

  • stevie

People are messed lol why are they hating on nikita lol. it did bad oh well its last season let the 700,000 people plus who watched it enjoy and get a proper finale unlike most shows get .. plus im sure the haters weren’t any who watched so why care …

  • Diana

Love those h50 ladies comments , Good& Steady. Ha Ha. Same they have been saying for years and where is H50 now? In Friday loser-land.
And now they ad Blue B. in her comments. Blue B. is a 10 pm show not a 9 m show as H50. So BB is the one doing fantastic. :)
BTW. How is H50 doing on TNT??? Let me guess , GOOD AND STEADY !! LOL

  • Eric

Nikita is amazing, but I am still on season 2

  • sebbenvolio

    Yay for Bones :)

I honestly think FOX should take a hard look at their mid-schedule changes, and consider giving bones the Thursday 9pm slot and switching Glee to Fridays. Wouldn’t be surprised if Bones on Fridays ties and/or beats Glee on Thursday nights.

Plus creatively this season’s been one of Bones’ all-time best.

tim and Diana can you say Hawaii 5-0 renewed. with cbs wining tues thru Friday, hostages goodwife and the mentalist are done

  • James

    >Where Were You the Day JFK Died

Understandable that the 18-49 demo wouldn’t be too high for that one. They all know the answer.

  • Pepper

People can hate on H50 all they want, it’ll still be renewed along with Blue Bloods this spring. Mentalist and the Good Wife are done.

  • Dahne

Hard to believe Nikita could premiere down from last year, but maybe it will
adjust up. Still shows CW was smart to make this a limited season.

Happy that NBC’s special report was a bust. Normally I don’t root for things to fail but I needed a Grimm fix this week after the catastrophe that was Arrow and instead it was depressing political assassination nostalgia.

No longer a fan but I am also glad that Bones notched up if only so its fans can stop worrying. Now if only Raising Hope can rise to decent ratings.

  • KC

Not gonna happen. Rake is taking the Thursday @ 9 slot and Glee is going back to Tuesday @ 8. Bones will most likely stay on Friday until the end of the show.

What part of “It’s a ratings site” is confusing you? Or that this is a discussion thread on a ratings site?

Its lead-in did better, so TCD hardly dragged Nikita down. And don’t you think there might be a reason the show is being burned off now? Why throw good money after bad by continuing to air it in better spots where it did poorly and could cost the network more ad revenue?

They expected to burn it off and use it as fodder for a press release that their schedule has original content even in December, where Nikita’s bad ratings could do the most good to the schedule.

It’s all about the schedule, people. Giving the illusion of a full schedule of original programming for most of the TV season is a high priority for the CW. Has been since they managed to start airing new episodes of shows on all five nights of the week.

  • thesnowleopard

ROTFL! Good point. Talk about skewing old. And I like history, but come on. The media’s obsession with this date is getting ghoulish.

  • shane

ANTM got better ratings last week than Nikita (P).. ouch!

thesnowleopard you know the cw beat nbc last night?

  • Billiam

For those who are bashing Nikita… I doubt that any of you have ever watched it. I just started watching toward the end of last season… and, it has the same or better quality as The Blacklist. And, I’m a Blacklist fan. The problem as I see it is that Nikita is not enough of a scifi genre for CW (the scifi stuff happened in first two seasons) and as we know from other non-genre shows on CW, they don’t last as long as the scifi genre. Nikita is sort of misplaced on the CW now…

And, as others pointed out, there are only 6 shows this season for Nikita. So, ratings don’t really matter anymore. So, I’m sure that many people are DVR’ing or watching it online now, like I am…

I never said below a 1 is bad. Hey, anything about a 0 means someone is getting some enjoyment out of the television program on a Friday night. And in my book, that’s nothing to sneeze at.

  • Sarah

I honestly think (and hope) that a lot of people were just confused by the ‘2 episodes in the same week’ thing with Bones last week. JMO, though.

  • FridayFan

Hawaii Five O was awesome last night! This season it has won me over, all over again. But last night was truly special. Now it’s off for a couple weeks…sigh. Although we’re busy on the next few Fridays, so I guess it makes sense.

I’m glad it is doing well. It deserves to do well. In fact, all my shows are doing well this year. The apocalypse must be upon us.
