48 HOURS: “Hollywood Secrets” was Saturday’s #1 non-sports program, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 23, 2013.
48 HOURS (10:00-11:00PM) posted a 4.0/07 with 5.74m viewers, a 1.5/04 in adults 25-54 and a 1.0/03 in adults 18-49. 48 HOURS was up +36% in adults 25-54, up +31% in viewers, up +43% in adults 18-49 and up +25% in households, according to the same night last year.
Saturday’s broadcast featured Maureen Maher and 48 HOURS’ investigation into the brutal murder of Juliana Redding, an aspiring actress and model found dead in her Santa Monica home – and whose killer, according to authorities, left behind plenty of evidence. That evidence would lead police to believe the killer was a woman, though whether they could make a case stick was an issue. It was a case involving a mysterious millionaire with international ties, questions of a hired killer, and an investigation that lingered for two years before a stunning break would turn everything upside down.
“Hollywood Secrets” is produced by Chuck Stevenson and Greg Fisher. Aimée deSimone, Sue McHugh and Stacie Gottsegen are the field producers. Ken Blum, Kevin Dean and Alan Miller are the editors. Al Briganti is the executive editor. Susan Zirinsky is the senior executive producer.
