FOX News Dominates November Cable News Ratings
November 2013 was FNC’s highest rated month since November 2012 (which featured presidential election coverage.) For the tenth consecutive month, FNC had a clean sweep of the top 14 programs in cable news based on total viewers. Additionally, FNC had 13 of the top 15 programs among the key news demographic of Adults 25-54.
November programming highlights include:
- Special Report with Bret Baier and The Five hit 2013 highs in both total viewers and adults 25-54. Special Report With Bret Baier was number 1 in adults 25-54 four times through November 25.
- In its second month, The Kelly File is up 30 percent in total viewers vs. the 2013 timeslot average.
- The Kelly File, Hannity and On the Record each rose 24 percent among adults 25-54.
- MediaBuzz with Howard Kurtz is delivering 979,000 in total viewers and 178,000 in adults 25-54, growing Kurtz’s audience by 111 percent with total viewers and 28 percent with Adults 25-54 vs. the 2013 Reliable Sources Kurtz average. MediaBuzz is up 22% with total viewers and up 73 percent with Adults 25-54 from week 1 to week 12.
