Each year, the President of the United States ceremonially pardons one or more turkeys from becoming part of the national Thanksgiving dinner. Now you can play the part of the President, and choose which NBC ratings turkeys you'd spare from consumption by the cancellation bear. The big difference being, the turkeys that the President spares actually get to live, your choices (like every internet poll) are just for meaningless fun.

Every scripted show currently on the air for NBC is in the poll.

As they say in Chicago, vote early, vote often.

The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).

(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

The Michael J. Fox Show. The rest can all be devoured!

  • Midnight

NBC is actually the only network where I only watch one show, and I watch a lot of shows. Save Parks and Rec, the rest can go to the bear.

  • Dan S

I hardly think shows like Grimm, SVU & Blacklist would be considered turkeys. At any rate I voted to save the low rated P&R which I fear is going to get chopped at the end of the season. I of course voted to keep Blacklist, Revolution, Grimm & Chicago Fire.

  • Matt

Dan – they’re just including every show in these polls that haven’t been renewed yet

  • Lucas Melo

    Save Parenthood!!

  • Andy

Blacklist and Parenthood are the two network shows I can’t miss. I enjoy Chicago Fire and I think Sean Saves The World has potential.

  • Rick

    Michael J. Fox – Gone
    SSTW – Gone
    Parks & Rec – Gone
    Parenthood – Gone
    Dracula – Gone
    Revolution – Gone
    SVU – Gone
    Chicago Fire – Keep
    The Blacklist – Keep
    Grimm – Keep

  • Tran

Keepers: The Blacklist, Revolution, Chicago Fire, Grimm, The Michael J. Fox Show, Parks and Recreation and Parenthood. Goners: Dracula, Sean Saves the World and SVU.

  • N

Really worried about Revolution this year… I hope it gets a third season.

Otherwise, Parks & Rec and Parenthood both deserves a final season, while Grimm isn’t my thing but I get why people like it. Good ratings despite being on Friday should help it last 5 seasons.

  • Jim

A lot of SVU killers here…why would they cancel the highest Non-voice Drama?

And someone gad the nereve to keep Michael J Fox and not SVU

  • a p garcia

If I were to choose between SSTW and MJF then I would abstain since neither deserves to be saved. MJF will probably air all 22 episodes although not on Thursday. If all the NBC shows were thrown in, then Dracula and Revolution deserved to be saved but I would choose Dracula over Revolution. Dracula has the ingredients to be the next BTVS.

  • k:Alex

I only care about The Blacklist and Revolution, Sean is nice but I almost never care about a comedy.
Chicago Fire will be back for sure.

  • Erin

I don’t understand why more people aren’t watching SSTW. I’m very picky about my comedies and this one is laugh out loud funny! I wish more people would give it a chance!

  • The Cool Max

Keep MJF, get rid of everything else.

  • Sparrow

If Sean Saves the World & MJ Fox want to survive they both need a complete retooling of everything including complete cast changes (with the exception of Linda Lavin of SSTW) and the premises of both shows. Otherwise I don’t think either stand a chance of ever pulling in viewers at this point.

  • Carl

Keep Parks & Rec. Make a few changes, but keep it. It deserves another shot after having to deal with BBT and preemptions.

  • Douglas from Brazil

  • Percysowner

Everything I watch on NBC is in no danger of being cancelled. Grimm, Chicago Fire, The Blacklist are all doing fine currently. Revolution is the only show I care about that’s in trouble on NBC and it’s not doing that bad.

  • cc

Michael J Fox deserves another time slot, not on Thursday night.

NONE OF THE ABOVE wasn’t on the ballot, so I didn’t vote
