The Walking Dead keeps dropping. AMC better enjoy their only hit while they can.

  • Stefan

    @Nick
WWE AM Raw November numbers please- Thanks in advance!

  • Nasir

I haven’t watched the last two TWD episodes because I was busy, but I heard they were both Governor-centric. Can anyone tell me if I missed anything sufficient to the plot?

  • MVProductions44

Total Divas probably took a slight hit because many wrestling fans were watching Survivor Series! Hopefully ratings tick upward next week; but glad its already renewed for a second season! I wish more people would watch Witches of East End because its such a good show… it really has a Charmed feel to it; but again glad its already been renewed for a second season…. had things worked out with the Client List who knows what would have happened to East End and Drop Dead Diva!

  • TV Addict

TWD has been so boring. The midseason finale better be good enough to get the viewers back

  • Chris_SAdvisor

@Nasir – Yes, they were both total wastes of time trying to make the Gov. look almost human, just so they could ‘surprise’ us with the fact he is a monster. He found a replacement family and a replacement group (with a tank – foreshadowing) and is heading to the prison. You are caught up. ;)

Ouch, that is quite a drop (700K) in viewers from last week. Luckily next week is the mid-season finale, so it should come back up a bit (+1m to +1.5m).

  • Nasir

    @Chris_SAdvisor

What a bore. lol.. Thanks a lot!

  • Jared

I hate that Lifetime cancelled The Client List especially after that huge cliffhanger in S2 which could have set up an amazing S3…Oh well. I wasnt feeling Witches of East End but stuck with it and I’m glad I did. The show has gotten better so im happy it’ll be around for another season.

  • steve

@rob itll probable going up next week & be massive Mid season finale. Also it could afford to drop by another like 2.0 possible more and still be considered a hit

  • John A

TWD has dropped alot. Its been kind of crap this year so not shocked. But it would have to drop like 5 demo points to be canned so it has alot of safety.

  • diane

The show with the nice governor was pretty boring, but this one was not boring. If you haven’t seen it yet all I can say is the Governor is BACK!!!!

  • Dave

Who cares about The Governor. That was last season’s bore. Time to move on.

  • Carl

Considering the competition and that this is the second straight episode with one not overly popular character taking the spotlight, that actually is not bad at all. They’re still close to 6 million in the demo.

It’s a waste, because the last episode before the Governor episodes began was one of the very best in the run of the show, and one of the most exciting TV episodes this year.

I think they will get some viewers back next week. They are very, very lucky that this show has a loyal fan base.

@TV Addict – It is the curse of Kirkman. I got into the comic after season two due to the slide in quality after the AMC brain-trust fired the genius (Frank D.) that converted the comic into must watch TV. I was unaware the meandering mess of winging that the comic was (soap opera is most often used to describe it). With a near total inability to develop characters, the comic lost interest shortly after the prison, and lost many readers shortly after issue 100 (apparently). With Kirkman having more and more input on the show, it is becoming the comic (for basic plot – not exact details) even though he keep on saying that it very different. They were getting away from the prison, only to 360, build the farm, and do just about everything in their power to make it into an exact clone of the comic, all so they can have this encounter between the Gov and Rick.

This upcoming scene with the Gov. at the prison is already spelled out in the comic, all that is left unwritten is who will die. Kirkman (publicly) took the fans insistence that Rick and Daryl are untouchable as a challenge to his ego, so I expect one will go in the first episode after the break – which Kirkman is writing. This is the major reason I expect next week to be a bait-and-switch, with everyone ‘preparing’ for the encounter between the two groups, but for it to not start until the end of the episode, and carry over to Kirkman’s episode (Feb 2014). That way he will be able to ‘prove’ his control over the show and teach fans a lesson. The fallout will be at least as entertaining to watch as TWD. ;)

  • Carl

@Chris_SAdvisor, I thought the first season was quite a bit more meandering than the second. I don’t think I’m ever going to get past that episode where Rick and the guys end up with a Hispanic gang who are actually taking care of kindly elders – it felt like someone dusted off an old Equalizer script they had in their bottom drawer.

I don’t see Daryl or Rick dying anytime soon. I wouldn’t mind seeing Daryl go, but he’s too popular.

  • Michael

Even though, the show has been renewed on Lifetime, I wish Witches Of East End was performing better. The show is definitely no Devious Maids, in terms of ratings growth.

  • rss34

This always happens, especially when the Sunday Night football game is a good one like the last 2 weeks. The ratings are usually better the second half of the season, and the midseason finale is up against a dog game. The ratings will go up, since things are going to break loose.

This Sundays episode wasn’t boring, it was actually pretty good. But to each their own I guess.

  • Cheryl

The best thing about the walking dead this week was the parody video that spawned from it

  • Patrick

Its allright :) midseason final looks awesome it will rise

  • 90s

    Nick,

Could we please know the ratings for Sanjay and Craig, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rabbids Invasion, Monsters vs Aliens and Power Rangers on Nickelodeon Saturday morning?

    Thanks!
