Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast. For more information see Numbers 101 and Numbers 102.

    Happy Tuesday!

    No one likes cyborgs and cops more than me so I’m starting to get worried about one of my new favorite shows, Almost Human. Seems to be dropping like a stone. Well, let’s hope it finds a whole new audience that hasn’t already sampled it and decided it wasn’t for them. Because I love it. Love it! Action and comedy, just like the promo promises. Another winner FOX!

    What night for CBS. Everything is up right? We’ll all be on the edge of our bean bags waiting to see if they get adjusted down because of football but for now it looks like champagne and hugs over at the eye network. And what a great night of comedy it was. Wall to wall belly laughs.

    Hart of Dixie was spectacular and Sleepy Hollow was top notch as well.

    And how about the Blacklist. Those numbers are noting to sneeze at.

    But why aren’t more people watching Beauty and the Beast. Ugggggggh!

  • Carmine

    @mando
    Yes, NBC should move The Blacklist to Thursdays, this way they will kill the best show they had in years, but who cares? They ought to do it!

  • Dan S

    I can’t believe the juvenile comments trashing SH. It’s already got a 2nd season & is a solid performer for Fox. Granted AH could be dragging it down with Bones moved to Fri. If AH continues dropping it’ll just move to Fri for burnoff.

  • Observer

    I don’t see how people think SH is all Katrina lately, I mean much of it is “about” her but she’s hardly even on screen.

  • PRW

    SO NO ONE has mentioned that all numbers may be down due it being a holiday week? Oh and let’s not forget to mention the high profile MNF game…

    But let’s not have facts get in the way of idiots posting about shows they hate.

  • Theseboardssuck

    The more you people watch reality shows the more networks are going to think we want to see them. For the love of God I don’t see what people get out of watching 2 Broke Girls. I have not seen 1 clip that I found even remotely funny. I’m so tired of hearing people say we’ve seen this or that before when referring to a TV show. Newsflash, it’s 2013…we’ve seen just about everything already.

  • Deo

    @farceattack

    “Can anyone tell me if tonight´s Castle was the last of the year?”
    Yes, it was.

  • Juan

    Yay go Castle these last two episodes of castle have been my fav of the season. It really is the little show that could. Also fantastic for the blacklist. It is almost at the voice levels, it isn’t falling even thigh it’s lead in is, it’s a very good show too.

  • jenna

    It’s nice to proven right. Sleepy Hollow is anything but stable. It still hasn’t hit its bottom, in my opinion. Sure, it will return next season but I won’t be surprised when it’s canceled midway through its second season. The show has always been ridiculous but it’s gotten progressively worse as it forces on the dreadful and annoying Ichabod Crane and his equally boring wife.

  • Percysowner

    Frankly, I’m taking all of this week’s numbers with a grain of salt. It’s the week of Thanksgiving. People are preparing for company to come in or to go somewhere. Kids who are in college are either coming home for college or they are already there and are doing family and friends stuff.. Now, admittedly I’m doing this on the TOTALLY not relevant fact that I am at my daughter’s house and she’s a cord cutter, so I’m watching stuff as it comes up on Hulu or the website. I just really don’t know how indicative rating this week are of a show dropping permanently.

  • Boiler

    Love HIMYM but this final season isn’t cutting it for me personally and it looks like viewers moving away. Think the premise is turning into a mistake. Too bad!! Also CW, please do something to help Hart of Dixie. Such a fun show to watch

  • TimsDale4ever

    Good for MOM. That show is really pretty good — and Faris and Janey have good chemistry.

  • Leoben Conoy

    too bad about the Almost Human numbers. Hope it adjusts up a tick and stabilizes next week. But I have my doubts.

    Its a really enjoyable scifi show. Last nights episode was exciting and fun.

    Though clearly not everyone agrees.

    Not worried about Sleepy Hollow. There are two bonafide hits this season, and Fox has one of them. Its not going anywhere.

  • Jared

    Both mid season finales for Hart of Dixie and BATB were so good last night. Easily the best episodes of the season so far. Crossing by fingers the CW renews both for next season.
    Fox should have left Bones on Mondays. Not only was it steady but gave a solid lead in for Sleepy Hollow. I’m just happy Sleepy Hollow has already been renewed.

  • Carl

    @Percysowner, that’s a really good point. This time of year makes it difficult to interpret ratings, especially weeks like this.

  • nicole

    Delete immediately BATB because the show is boring and ugly and the actors are mediocre!! Stop BaTB!

  • A fan

    @farceattack

    Is it the last episode of Season 6 for this year? Yes. There will be repeats over December and then continuation of Season 6, 6X11, on 6th of January 2014.

  • ERICinHB

    Almost Human is Almost Dead…….

  • allfrumthei

    This is how its sad become, Im happy at the 130k plus viewers gain for BATB lol

    Whatever I’ll take it lol

    I was surprised to see in the preview after the episode that it seems Beauty and the Beast is staying on Monday nights in January and presumably till its end in Springs. So that would mean that CW is burning off their two new shows on Friday? I guess Nikita will end in the winter along with TCD’s shortened season. So 100 and Star Crossed presumably are on Fridays

    Strange to just throw both shows there. I know the CW has improved from last year, but really its just the other new shows on Tue-Thur were paired up with the only 3 legit strong shows. Kind marginalizes things when they are basically “Hey we cant even compete on Mondays and Firdays either and we’re not gonna put Arrow or a TTP on those days either”

    Can they be a netowork that literally just has 3 day primetime schedule in 4 years?

  • Maria

    @Gabriel, @eridapo & @It’s funny

    The correct source for ratings, posted here or somewhere else, is The Nielsen Company. If you get them from someone who has paid for them, you can add a via [name].

    What can backfire is to assume those who post them here, get them from Berman. I know I don’t when I see them and pass them along here ;-)
