Univision Beat One or More English-Language Networks on 72% of Nights Among Adults 18-34 November Sweeps to Date

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of November 18, 2013 to November 24, 2013

 

  • In November 2013 Sweeps to date (25 nights), the Univision Network beat one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) on 72% of nights among Adults 18-34 and 48% of nights among Adults 18-49 (18 and 12 nights, respectively).

ü  Locally, Univision is the #1 broadcast station in Primetime among Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles and Houston; and among Adults 18-34 in Los Angeles, Miami and Houston.

 

  • This week, Univision ranked #4 or higher versus English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX) on four nights among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Monday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Tuesday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #4 Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü  The finale of Univision’s 8 p.m. novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) averaged 5.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.6 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.3 Million Adults 18-34.  It was the second highest rated program of the evening among Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Thursday night, airing the 2013 Latin Grammys, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in both demographics.  The show averaged 4.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.4 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.2 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in both demographics.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Saturday night, airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and #4 among Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC in both demographics.  “Sabado Gigante” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.4 Million, +16%), Adults 18-49 (904,000, +18%), and Adults 18-34 (353,000, +30%).

 

  • On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering CBS.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which averaged 2.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 Million Adults 18-49, and 485,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü  Airing at 8 p.m., the “¡Mira Quién Baila!”  (Look Who’s Dancing) finale saw increases over last year’s capper among Total Viewers 2+ (4.4 Million, +12%), Adults 18-49 (2.0 Million, +4%), and Adults 18-34 (834,000, +6%).

 

ü  Following “¡Mira Quién Baila!” at 10:03 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 3.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.4 Million Adults 18-49, and 537,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • Premiering this week, Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Lo Que Vida Me Robo” (What Life Took From Me) helped Univision rank as the #4 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  The novela averaged 3.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.8 Million Adults 18-49, and 814,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Mentir Para Vivir” (Lie So You Can Live) helped Univision rank as the #3 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34.  The novela averaged 2.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 558,000 Adults 18-34.
