‘Up Late With Alec Baldwin’ Canceled by MSNBC After Five Weeks
In what is being described as a mutual parting of ways, MSNBC has canceled Up Late with Alec Baldwin. The network previously suspended Baldwin for two weeks because he was filmed using a homophobic slur during a run in with a photographer. Up Late With Alec Baldwin only lasted for five weeks. Its ratings declined about 40 percent over the course of its run. The premiere garnered 654,000 viewers and 172,000 adults 25 to 54. Its final episode on November 8 managed only 395,000 viewers and 101,000 adults 25-54. The interview show was scheduled to return this Friday, November 29.
