and POI adjusts up so the episode after Carter is killed off it is up 0.2 and it beats Chicago Fire! Excellent! Can’t wait for more POI!!!!

  • Statix

For Agents of SHIELD, in terms of viewers, this is the highest number since the premiere.

POI was awesome, but it should have never been moved to Tuesday.

  • Rebooted

My guess is SHIELD gets renewed and castle (or maybe nashville?) moves to Tuesdays next fall.

  • Andrew43

ABC has to be pleased that SHIELD has been going up lately. Question is… will it last?

  • Jaime

Good for Agents of Shield! YES! I love that show! Maybe certain haters will stop hoping it will get cancelled. It’s after all a JOB for the actors. Anytime someone wishes for a show to get cancelled, I wonder if they realize that they are talking about someone’s salary/income here. The actors are people too. It’s like wishing for people to get fired from their jobs.

I figured SPN would adjust up more Sam and Jody teaming up please.

TO and SPN are such a great pairing and I knew they would be I’m glad its worked out for the CW.

  • Targaryen

ofc POI is up.POI is all about Reese,Finch and the machine.and ofc the CBS thursdays comedy block is FAIL

Sometimes the answers come from the most obvious places. I didn’t even think of that lol

Tuesday’s are the CW’s best night. Great episodes last night. So happy to see 3 of my favs adjust up in one night for a change. Love it.

  • iHeartJoss (Best Detective Ever!!!)

Well, I think CBS can thank Taraji P. Henson and her tireless work in begging people to watch. And it looks like Sara’s having a better day… ;)

  • Braniac

Good for shield. Such a refreshing show compared to the other procedurals that focus so much on the DNA and playing up the stereotypes of people in law enforcement being territorial

  • Mark

    @John A
Why are people still watching AOS?
What else is on Tuesday? We have a couple pageant shows, and CBS evening for the grand parents. AOS is passable entertaininment. The only other thing on Tuesday for me is people bidding on storage units

Good for POI, and still surprised about Shield, guess a new day may help it next season.

Also love that PoI adjusted up. Always amazed at those who like to talk down a show they don’t like, such as: PoI still hasn’t bested Chicago Fire. (that was before the finals)

similar comments occurred last season when it was up against Grey’s. Here’s the truly notable fact in both these situations: PoI, while not a blockbuster in the demo, last year averaging a 2.9, this year about a 2.1 because of the 10 p.m. slot, is steady. Both Grey’s last year and Chicago Fire this year started high and continually dropped all season long. In the end, PoI and Grey’s were .1 or .2 apart in the demo, and this season against Chicago Fire it seems the same will occur.

Guess Grey’s and Chicago Fire fans don’t recognize that the average is what is telling…in the end, the shows average out very, very closely. Why not just be happy for both?

Interesting that SHIELD is improving. But everyone should take note that next week is a repeat and the final new episode of 2013 airs on 12/10, so it might not hold up.

  • Scott

Pretty low for The Voice but still not down from last year.

  • Facemeat

Very happy to see that POI adjusted up. Hopefully it’ll return strong in December.

  • Ryann

The CW would be insane to break this night up, its just to good for them.
What’s with such a high viewer ship for Agents of Shield? Happy for ABC, needs a show to renew

  • Skipper

Why are people on this site so incredulous at the fact that people enjoy shield? Stating that the pilot was bad is an opinion not a fact…I think it’s silly that people project their opinions onto the whole tv population and assume that because they didn’t like a show that everyone else must have stopped watching too. I know we all like to think of ourselves as “tv connoisseurs” but really

Sadly there’s only 1 episode in December, some funky scheduling at work there.
