    Anyone who thinks this is where SHIELD will settle is delusional. There was no competition last night.

  • Laina

    Yay for SPN!! TO and SPN had almost the exact same numbers in demo and overall viewers. Impressive. I thought SPN had some great moments and some not-so-great moments in last night’s episode.

    While I do wish CBS would’ve waited until next week to show Rudolph, I’ll admit that I watched it with my 5 and 2 year olds last night. They were really excited to see a Christmas special on tv (and yeah we own it on dvd but I think there’s just something special about watching it as it airs on tv).

  • ChadCronin

    For Thanksgiving I am happy for the extra .1 for Supernatural!

  • danny94

    Who would have thought this time 2 months ago that we would all be getting excited over a 2.6 for shield,

  • Cal

    I am fairly new to ratings and while I lurk and see that most people on here speak about the demo and not really total viewers, I have a question. Is Chicago Fire in any kind of trouble? As in, not being renewed? It is my favorite show on the NBC schedule when it comes to dramas and a 2.1 looks so low compared to all these other shows that get higher.

  • tvwatcher

    Really nice to see SHIELD climb up like this! It’s improving in quality too!

    @Refrain

    Ah, didn’t know that; that’s a shame. Thanks for the info, though.

  • tim_m

    @Cal a 2.1 for CF on NBC is great. Its in no danger of not getting renewed. It would have to fall pretty far on NBC to not get renewed.

    NCIS LA maintained its demos from last week and only lost 18% of its total viewer total despite not having its NCIS lead-in and against the finale of DWTS. It has proven that it can stand on its own, and it is time for CBS to move it to another night to give another show the benefit of the NCIS exposure.

    @Facemeat

    Did you read the report about the shows production being shut down for a brief while? The filming permit was revoked. Not for long though.

  • tim_m

    Well so much for all those people stopping watching POI cause Carter died lol.

    Last night’s episode of AOS i thought was the best of the season.

  • tim_m

    I may be wrong but i believe this was a season high for POI, can someone confirm this?

  • Refrain

    @tim_m

    Nope, Episode 5 got 13.17 million, 2.2 18-49 demo.

  • Cal

    @tim_m

    Thanks! :)
    I never know if I should compare a show’s rating to how other shows on the same network are doing (in this case, Blacklist, Revolution, Parenthood, Grimm, Dracula, SVU) or if I should compare it to how other shows are doing on the competing networks.

  • david

    Great to see Supernatural go up to match the Oringinals with the same 1.1 for the night for the CW.

  • tim_m

    @refrain thanks. I couldn’t remember if it had gotten a 2.2 or not this season. I knew it wasn’t a high for total viewers.

  • tim_m

    @Cal compare it to shows like blacklist, grimm parenthood and svu. Anything in the low 1’a is when you need to start to worry.

  • Refrain

    @tim_m

    No problem, hopefully we’ll see it rise to 2.3 onwards in later episodes :)

  • MARTY

    targaryen you know cbs won Thursday?

  • Facemeat

    @Refrain

    I must have missed that when it happened; just read about it now though.
