Will 'Nikita's' Ratings Rise in Week Two? (Poll)

Nikita Set Up

Nikita's final season started with a whimper last week when the drama managed only an anemic 0.2 adults 18-49 rating. This week it faces stiff genre competition from Grimm as well as the wild card of a Garth Brooks concert special on CBS. Will it manage to redeem itself with a ratings rise, or will it follow in Cult's infamous Friday footsteps and fall to a 0.1? Make your prediction!

if nikita is on its final then i don’t see why people care about its ratings so much, either way whether its ratings are good or bad its going to end this season

“I love Nikita to death but the poll is pointless since the show will still air”

As Bill would say, were you under the mistaken impression that internet polls have a point?

0.2’s for all the episodes, and maybe a 0.3 for the series finale.

I know, there’s no need to care. No matter the number the only broadcast dramas recently competing with it in terms of quality are The Blacklist and Person of Interest. And yet there are people who don’t even watch the show who feel compelled to dwell over and root for how low the ratings are; and post here about it. That says a lot more about the poster than it does about Nikita.

@tomen8er, it caught me by surprise too. I knew it was airing between the holidays but didn’t expect it for another week or two. I quickly rectified that by watching the premiere on the CW website.

    LOL um NO!

    I think it’ll fluctuate between a 0.2-0.3

Would be nice for it to have at least a 0.4 for its series finale.

    It’ll beat 9O21O :D

So a show can really get a 0.0? How?

  • david

I am guessing a .2 again like last week.

With Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer ahead of it, Nikita steps in poop.

Jay Leno in his monologue did mention a sports program did get a 0.0 rating in a local television market. I’ve been waiting for the first prime time broadcast network program to earn a 0.0 rating nationwide.

Nikita is lucky they only have 6 episodes this season. The odds of Nikita actually reaching 0.0 is quite low. Nikita’s ratings this season could be 0.2, 0.18, 0.16, 0.17, 0.17, and 0.2 for the series finale.

My prediction is Nikita will have 0.2 as its reported final rating for its 2nd episode of the season.

0.1, 0.2, 0.3…does it really matter which one it gets???

    My predictions for this season:

    EP1 – 0.2
    EP2 – 0.0
    EP3 – 0.1
    EP4 – 0.2
    EP5 – 0.2
    EP6 – 0.5

Probably for the same reason the show is airing over the holidays–because it’s ratings spackle and the network doesn’t care what it gets as long as it doesn’t get something *really* embarrassing like a 0.0.

Some Nikita fans on here claim they don’t care what the ratings are like now. That is nothing to the lack of caring the network has for Nikita’s fate because the CW already decided that last spring.

The rest of us are curious because we want to see how low Nikita can go.

That was the Houston Astros @ Cleveland Indians. The game scored a 0.00 in the Houston Market.

For comparison, a Cosby Show rerun scored a 0.5 rating, and the NFL Network’s screen of football scores earned a .16 rating that same day.

The DisAstros were losing 7-2 in the 6th inning and ended up losing 9-2. No wonder people didn’t tune in.

Happy I’m not an Astros’ fan. Go Rangers!

Is it possible to get a negative rating?

Seriously speaking, though, I expect a 0.0 at some time before the finale.

  • Samuel

Honestly, I would love Nikita to hit a 0.0 even though I’m a fan of the show! What a way to go out!!

Has that ever happened before to a show?

The series finale is airing Dec 29th. It could hit a 0.0 that night so close after Xmas.

A CW newsmagazine show, CW Now did get a 0.0 in the Household ratings but not 18-49.
