A&E PRESENTS A ‘DUCK DYNASTY’ ONE-HOUR HOLIDAY SPECIAL
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11 AT 10PM ET/PT
NEW YORK, NY – DECEMBER 4, 2013 – A&E’s smash hit series “Duck Dynasty” returns once more this year for a one-hour holiday special premiering Wednesday, December 11 at 10PM ET/PT.
It’s Christmas time in “O Little Town of West Monroe,” where the Robertsons are partaking in traditions new and old. The family is asked to perform a live nativity for the church, so the wives take it upon themselves to organize rehearsals to ensure they pull off a great event. However, wrangling all the Robertson men requires divine intervention; Jep is afraid he won’t remember his one line, Si can’t let go of his tea cup and Jase gives Willie a hard time about his role as Joseph.
Meanwhile, Phil enlists Kay and Jessica to go hunting for the perfect Christmas ham but it doesn’t take long for him to regret it. Willie and Jase struggle to find a gift their wives won’t want to return so they unenthusiastically take the advice of Jep, who always gives Jessica thoughtful presents that she loves.
The latest season of “Duck Dynasty” burst out of the gate premiering to 11.8 total million viewers in August 2013, making it the #1 nonfiction series telecast in cable history and the series’ best season ever. America has fallen in love with the bearded, camo-clad Robertson family, who have become a cultural phenomenon in less than two years.
“Duck Dynasty” is produced for A&E Network by Gurney Productions. Executive producers for Gurney Productions are Deirdre Gurney and Scott Gurney. Executive producers for A&E are David McKillop and Lily Neumeyer.
