Another Solid Night For CBS ,

Great Numbers for NBC , can we thank them for not being afraid to get Blood all over the place ( The Blacklist )
Two very solid shows that are both doing so well.

FOX , okay what to say other then Almost Human should never have been put on a 8pm , and that it should have been allowed to go a lot darker though not to the level of Blade Runner.
This should be at 9pm , and fox should have put an hour of comedy at 8pm instead

    @Joseph A
And where would Sleepy Hollow go?

  • jenna

Speaking of Sleepy Hollow, why are people so quick to pull the plug off Almost Human when Sleepy Hollow is only a few tenths away from matching its ratings?

I wouldn’t be surprised when SH falls under a 2 rating this Monday.

  • Poppy

Wait, whut? when did Sleepy Hallow have a 1.9 and 1.7 in the first 4 eps of their season? Sleepy is kinda fun, Almost Human is the same old, same old.

  • zach36

almost human sucks see ya haha!

  • HeadlessHorseman

How is a 2.2 only a few tenths away from a 2.2? Oh right, it isn’t. Also, maybe people are so quick to pull the plug on Almost Human because, unlike Sleepy Hollow, it’s not already renewed for a second season.

3.2 For Blacklist is nothing to complain about…

  • Networkman

FOX should be patient with Almost Human and really try to build its audience. With the possible cancellation of X-Factor, FOX is going to need shows to fill in the 3 open hours. Maybe Almost Human would do better behind a reality show such as Hell’s Kitchen. People no longer have interest in X-Factor whereas Almost Human has the potential for growth.

I’m glad NBC learned something from last season with Revolution and its lengthy break and the fact that they didn’t test how well the show would do without The Voice…and look how it’s doing now…

Almost Bones… but not nearly as good. The blacklist packs a lot more action into ~43 minutes than AH, and the characters have more depth (though both shows all still in their infancy). One show has a future, the other is sinking fast.

Wouldn’t be surprised if the blacklist hovers between 2.9-3.1 without the voice, whilst almost human falls down to a 1.3 by january.

“How I Met Your Mother Adjusted Up. The Blacklist Adjusted Down.” At this rate, by the end of the season, this will be yet another example of CBS ending a show that has more viewers than NBC’s top show on the same night.

  • Mbento

i still think ratings for almost human are good, having competition for two shows doing 3 points and still alone survive is good. Lets see what january will bring.

Tha Blacklist is so intriguing … love the acting … where has James Spader been? On another line of thought … Several articles … the latest in the New York Times state that the coveted demographic watches TV differently … rarely seeing ads … Love it.

  • Jason

Michael1 – CBS is not ending HIMYM by choice – the actors have not signed on for additional seasons and some like Jason Segal want to go do other things with their lives

  • AH FAN!

    AH is Awesome!

  • AH FAN!

Today’s TV viewers have changed. Seems they don’t even give shows a chance — that is– if it isn’t a “reality” show or a contest show.

I said once before that if Star Trek wasn’t invented way back when and was a brand new show today in today’s TV market, that it too would be struggling.

But like it or not, there are TV viewers who like something other than faked “reality” and contest shows. And AH has got a fan with me. That is, if FOX doesn’t screw it up.

But ESPN’s NFL game drew about 3 1/2 million more viewers than any broadcast network show.

This week (December 9th), ESPN should again dominate Monday ratings.
