So glad The Good Wife didn’t adjust down. Excellent 100th episode!

God TGW skews so old! I hope it doesn’t get cancelled this season i just want it to have a proper ending. They always close their seasons with a major cliffhanger so if they don’t get final season i’ll be pissed.

Really curious what the east coast west coast breakdown is for the mentalist. I know a lot of people that DVR the mentalist here on the east coast because watching live at 11 is just not realistic for people who work Monday mornings. Even 1030 is pushing it. So is a 1.7 great? No. But for a show airing the majority outside of primetime, without a doubt. It’s like an extra hour in the schedule to work with. CBS should expand their Sunday primetime in the spring 2015 to show a short season of the mentalist as there seems to be an appetite for a show at 11. That leaves room for a new series somewhere else in the schedule but still allows them an extra hour of profitable programming.

The Mentalist, starting at 10.50 pm my time, with a 1.7? YES!

If CBS does decide to cancel it, what show will go in the 11 pm hour for CBS on Sundays next season? ;)

OUAT has not adjusted up in some weeks. I agree that the Pan arc can’t conclude soon enough. I’ve liked aspects of it, but, overall, not one of its best.

  • rochiss271

The “Pan Arc” is gonna finish in the next two ep,and I agree it should have been a 7-8 ep arc not 12

  • rochiss271

    11 sorry

  • Olive.garden

Yay. The Good Wife wins again!

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    Wow @ 60 Minutes!

I normally don’t watch 60M, but I had the TV still on CBS after the football game and got sucked in by the first story about amazon.com and their new delivery drone (though I changed the channel to NBC football immediately after that segment).

  • Diane

Hurray for The Mentalist. Exited to see of the possibility of another season, even as this series gets punched, thrown around and stomped on by football on Sunday nights. It’s number one in my books.

  • kul65

Go, The Mentalist!! xD And here I was giving up hope on a seventh season.

  • ludotv

Good for TGW (no downward adjustment) and The Mentalist (adjusted up) – I am hoping for the miracle that both get renewed… with so many new shows being awful like Hostages, perhaps CBS will bet on the quality of these veteran shows…

  • iSayso

Yes, great for The Good Wife! Yay for less foreseeable housekeeping duties!

  • gerry

mentalist would have to be touting much more impressive numbers to be renewed over TGW which CBS owns/is making $ off of in numerous syndication deals.

  • diana

i really don’t get the issue with the peter pan arc in ouat i personally find it really interesting because at least stuff are happening and it pretty much has been holding my interest the whole hour. once upon a time at a 1.9 shows that the ratings system is flawed nowadays if shows are not procedural, political or medical then nothing really has a chance. i really the method that abc uses which is that it promotes like 2 or 3 shows and lets the other shows fend on their own and as a result to that the network average is down i really hope they fire paul lee and get a better abc president. frankly, the only thing that abc ever promotes is scandal, which is part of the reason why it gets sky high ratings

  • diana

    *don’t like*

Great ratings for CBS, amazing numbers for 60 Minutes.
Good Wife Gets at least one more season ,
As for The Mentalist there is a solid case to give it one more year now

    As for ABC
I like Once Upon A Time , BUT , almost never watch it on Sunday
For me its either Football or The Amazing Race ,

  • Networkman

WOW! CBS may really have to rethink cancelling The Mentalist. I’m really impressed that it was able to garner 1.7 @11:00pm. Maybe CBS could have both The Good Wife & The Mentalist share a timeslot next season. Each running 15 episodes straight. I really think that The Mentalist is stronger than Elementary at this point.

  • Toshi

It is very silly to me that the ratings are not counted by total viewers. Big huge flaw. A lot of older people buy very important and expensive items and young people influence their parents into purchases. They should gut the current ratings measure.

  • David H

Despite CBS’s attempt to push the Mentalist into obscurity, the show still shows legs. It must have a very loyal core to post these numbers in a constantly varying time slot. I know people who record the show only to miss the endings due to football over-runs. I would like to understand the logic of moving a show with these numbers into the worst time slot of the week. Maybe I just answered my question. They should renew based on this alone.
