    I absolutely love how even though CM was a rerun,it still managed to be Wednesday night’s most watched drama.

  • Charmed

    Good for Nashville

    “Kinda sorta like the whole Scandal vs Revenge nonsense, no?”

    Bingo. Looks like we have a pot that needs to get introduced to the kettle he thinks he’s laughing at.

    Tomorrow people is so good. Finally cw has something worth watching and now nobody is. People please discover this show.

    Still rooting for TTP but as many people have said the series needs to be reworked. Last night’s show was really strong because the focus was on John and Jedikah, and that’s where the show should go. John should be the lead, the character’s back story is much stronger than Stephen’s. Flashbacks are the show’s ally and since Stephen is young he doesn’t have many and somehow this needs to be altered.

    In a storyline twist I’d have multiple people in his high school find out about his powers, thus he’d drop out for his own safety/less people would find out about TTP. I thought the concept of Cara loosing her power’s early on would have been strong too, take one of these people out of the mix at least temporarily. There’s so much potential and they’ve hit a few decisions right (Having Stephen be a double agent from the get go was particularly good) and with a show like this they need to keep making the non-conventional decisions and see where it leads.

    Even though we saw John kill Stephen’s father last night I know we’re suppose to believe he’s still not really dead as an audience. Now I’m not saying he should be dead to break convention, but something else creative and original needs to be going on to justify the continuation of the search. I’m sure it’ll have something to do with the “dimension” that exists between teleporting and stopped time and that holds a whole wide range of other possibilities.

    Since the show still has 14 episodes at least left I’m hoping they can figure out a unique place to take it. And the love triangle/square isn’t working because there’s no build up to it. Cara and Stephen slept together way too soon. This is actually one of the places where I would throw in conventional storytelling. They shouldn’t have kissed even. It should have been an “almost” instance in that episode so the building starts and we as the audience care about it more. The first kiss between them should be way down the road and not until the first season finale at least. Oh and Astrid needs to do more…obviously I could go on and on and I love the show overall, which is why I keep watching but it could really surprise me if it wanted to.

    Very good for Nashville :)

    GO GET A LIFE!! LOSER!!!

    Regarding the latest Arrow episode, I get the feeling Oliver will likely kill Slade. Reason being firstly earlier in the season Sara asks Oliver where Slade is, to which Oliver gives a non answer. The next thing being Olivers reluctance to discuss the Miracle ‘drug’ when pressed, and finally when he tells Felicity that he has killed a super powered guy before on the island. I just get the vibe that all of this pretty much confirms that Oliver lost something because of the Miracle drug thing.

    Also Oliver mentions that he destroyed the drug in the fire the last time on the island. And at some point Sara and Oliver will be separated again.

    I’m hoping this Reign vs TTP thing turns into a Reign & TTP vs Star Crossed & The 100 thing.

    I like both TTP and Reign and want them to stay.

    Star Crossed looks meh. Though the 100 seems to have some potential.

  • Alan

    I like TTP, but the ratings are not good enough. If it gets cancelled I won’t miss it that much, the story is moving waaaaay too slowly.

    @Someone

    Nooooo! No more Anything vs Anything things! Boring!!! ;)

    @Reprise

    This is only speculation on my part and based entirely on the promo pictures done for season two but I’m guessing that Slade will eventually make his way into the present day storyline, so I very much doubt that he’ll die on the island. I do think something happens to drive a wedge between them though, most likely involving Shado.

    There is also the scene in the pilot episode about a minute in where you can see Deathstrokes mask impaled on an arrow. I have to wonder if this was a subtle nod to an upcoming battle between Oliver and Deathstroke. Slade Wilson and his partner both shared the same codename and with his partner dead, there’s no reason to believe that Slade won’t revert to using it again.(Not to mention impaling the mask with an arrow suggests hate to me).

    Even if he was a ‘good’ guy prior to taking the drug, it may of corrupted him at the same time.

    I have a strong feeling that near the end of the season, or maybe in the final episode even that Slade and Oliver will likely have a fight to the death.(If Slade survives, which I doubt, he’ll likely be a Season 3 villain).

  • ToXiX

    Good for Nashville.

    Back In The Game has more viewers than Super Fat Night but Is still lower in the demo.
    Either way, both of those didnt deserve a full season.
    While I’m not a fan of Trophy Wife it’s far better than BITG & SFN.
    The Goldbergs is great, and the only abc freshman sitcom that will get a second season.

    @Reprise

    I definitely think that Slade will end up using the Deathstroke name again, and I’d not be surprised if that wasn’t part of him being corrupted into being a bad guy at some point on the island. I do still believe that he’ll eventually be seen in the present day though. Whether that will be as Oliver’s friend or enemy remains to be seen.

    @Alan

    That’s my feeling too. I like TTP enough to keep watching but every week it takes me longer and longer to get around to it. The story has so much potential and yet it seems to be dragging its feet far too much at the moment. The fact that I’m only half interested in its ratings is probably a sign that I won’t care too much if it doesn’t make it to season two.

  • iSayso

    My gawd, not only are CW fans losers, they’re also fascists.
