‘CBS This Morning’ Posts the Network’s Best November Sweep Delivery in the Time Period in Viewers Since 1994

“CBS THIS MORNING” POSTS THE NETWORK’S BEST NOVEMBER SWEEP DELIVERY IN THE TIME PERIOD IN VIEWERS SINCE 1994 AND HOUSEHOLDS SINCE 2005
CBS THIS MORNING posted the Network’s best November sweep delivery for a CBS morning news program in viewers since 1994, households since 2005, and women 25-54 since 2010, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. In November 2013, CBS THIS MORNING was up +16% in viewers (3.21m from 2.77m), +10% in both households (2.3/08 from 2.1/07) and women 25-54 (1.1/07 from 1.0/06), and even in adults 25-54 (0.9/06), compared to last November. Editor’s Note: The November 2012 sweep had the week of Hurricane Sandy as a break-out.
CBS THIS MORNING posted double-digit year-to-year gains in adults 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/06 from 0.8/06), the demographic most important to those who advertise is news, viewers (+26%, 3.35m from 2.66m), households (+25%, 2.5/09 from 2.0/07) and women 25-54 (+22%, 1.1/07 from 0.9/06) for the week ending Nov. 29, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. The CBS broadcast posted its time period’s best performance in viewers since the week ending Dec. 15, 2008 and added +690,000 viewers compared to the same week last year. Editor’s Note: Ratings for the week ending Nov. 29 represent a two-day average due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING is up +13% in adults 25-54 (0.9/06 from 0.8/06), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, +16% in viewers (3.05m from 2.64m), +10% in both households (2.2/08 from 2.0/07) and women 25-54 (1.1/07 from 0.9/06) compared to last year.
