NEW YORK, December 6, 2013 – Welcome back inside the many minds of Nick Kroll as Comedy Central’s critically-acclaimed pop culture sketch-uational comedy series “Kroll Show” returns for a second season.  Kroll brings his characters back to life with more drama and hilarity than ever before, including publicist “Liz” trying to cope with her pregnant coworker; renowned canine plastic surgeon “Dr. Armond,” who gets involved in a murder mystery; more wild and absurd moments from the “Rich Dicks,” and “Bobby Bottleservice,” who moves into a “Gigolo House.”  The eleven-episode second season kicks off on Tuesday, January 14 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.  Fans can catch up with a “Best Of” season one episode on Tuesday, December 10 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the season finale of “Tosh.0.”

In the premiere episode, we learn that one of the “PubLIZity” girls, “Pretty Liz” (played by Jenny Slate) is pregnant which makes “Liz” (Kroll) spin out of control; Kroll’s delinquent teenage character “C-Czar” gets sent off to “Dad Academy;” “Gil” and “George” reunite to pull another “Too Much Tuna” prank; and prepare yourself for “Cake Train.”  Guest stars in the first episode include Bill Burr, Will Forte, John Mulaney, Chelsea Peretti (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) and Jenny Slate.

What about his married girlfriend, Amy Poehler? Will she be making an appearance?

Critically acclaimed? Well, when Jules Kroll writes the checks to the critics they will acclaim. Still, the show was panned and had poor ratings. What gives?
