    Guys, there was NO ABC PROMO for Grey’s Anatomy’s episode this week. At all. ABC messed up advertising.

  • Brandy

    @Doug F only Arrow, not the TTP
    @ Kissan Reign also does better in social media.Out of the the top 25 most popular new shows on social media TO was 1, Reign 8,TTP 10.

  • diana

    whoever thought when scandal was on its first season that scandal would actually beat its lead by 7 tenths

  • Networkman

    I wouldn’t say that CBS should cancel The Millers but it really should move it. It has had enough weeks behind The Big Bang Theory. Also out of all the new comedies still on CBS it is the weakest in terms of quality.

    Grey’s Anatomy was really hurt by The Sound of Music. Since Sandra Oh is leaving at the end of the season, it would be nice to end the series altogether. But it is still pulling in decent demo rating better than most of ABC’s new programming. But its 11th season should definitely be its last.

    Lol at Greys Anatomy! Not even Desperate Housewives was that low in ratings this early in a season. Come on Grey’s you can do better! Desperate Housewives would get higher ratings competing against The Walking Dead, Sunday Football, The Good Wife, and the Fox comedies. I really hope you guys don’t go under 6 million this season!

    i’m really not liking abc’s marketing this year its like the only thing abc ever promotes is scandal. i don’t see any ads on once upon a time, revenge, greys, and etc… all i see ads of is scandal, most of the comedies, and sometimes nashville. its no wonder the network average is down before paul lee was the abc president abc had multiple hits such as lost, desperate housewives, greys anatomy and etc… all of those shows were above a 4.0

    “Lol at Greys Anatomy! Not even Desperate Housewives was that low in ratings this early in a season.”

    lol at least Grey’s Anatomy made it to a 9th and 10th season. DH didn’t.

    Mon, Elementary isn’t a dud, IMO. It has a huge audience with DVR against strong competition. With a little creative scheduling, it could grow. CBS would be foolish to give up on it. Les Moonves is a patient man. Look at NCIS and TBBT. Late in life monsters.

    Not saying E will ever get there, but it’s far from dead .

    ATTENION EVERYONE, RATINGS FOR ALL SHOWS WERE DOWN DUE TO THE NBC 3-HOUR BROADCAST OF “THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE”

  • Sara Hudson

    @diana I totally agree with you, I watch almost all the tv shows that ABC have and the only show that they are promoting most is Scandal. We didn’t even get a promo for Grey’s this week and I know many people didn’t even know it was on.

    What were the final half-hour ratings? People are going on about how The Big Bang Theory beat The Sound of Music, which is true when you compare TBBT’s 30 minute length with TSOM’s rating over its whole 3 hours, but it seems possible to me that TSOM actually beat TBBT in the 8:00-8:30 bracket.

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    Not a bad night for NBC. Only about 4 times their normal rating.

    ;-) :-)

    @RJC

    CBS – The Big Bang Theory
    Viewers: 15.26 million (#2), A18-49: 4.6/14 (#1)

    NBC – The Sound of Music Live!
    Viewers: 17.56 million (#1), A18-49: 4.3/13 (#2)

    From preliminaries: TBBT adjusted up to a 4.8 in the finals while TSOML stayed the same.

  • Ram510

    Could we soon see The Crazy Ones beat Grey’s?

    I wish CBS would switch the time slots of The Crazy Ones and The Millers just once to see how they perform

  • Anthony

    @rob60990
    Im a fan of both TV shows… But I’m glad the creators of Desperate Housewives decided to end it on its 8th season while the ratings were still okay and plus the story was over, there was nothing left to tell, but I feel like Grey’s Anatomy should of also ended before the ratings continue to dip

  • RJC

    @Billy: thanks

  • Dylan Lane

    Is that still a season low for BBT? :(

  • Joana

    What strikes me most about Grey’s is that this season it probably has the least competition its ever faced. Glee has collapsed, NBC comedies do CW numbers, Reign is among the lowest for the CW and the CBS offerings are always in the low 2’s. If FOX, CBS or NBC tried a bigger show in the 9:00 hour I think Grey’s could hit a 2. ABC needs to consider moving it next season since they are (by all accounts) bringing it back for a season 11.

  • Samunto

    Grey’s has really lost ground. And let no one blame this on NBC!

    Interesting how ‘Sound of Music’ wasn’t adjusted.

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    @RJC

    From the half hours posted before, TBBT beat TSOML in its shared half hour rather handily (especially so after this adjustment), but TSOML peaked at a higher number than TBBT for one of its half hours, but that ratings peak happened in the 8:30 half hour.
