Final Formula One Race Delivers Biggest Audience To Date

 

 

·         UniMás outperformed NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) on 8 of 13 Formula One (F1) races which aired on both networks this season.

o   UniMás out-delivered NBCSN by +72% among Adults 18-49 and +38% among Total Viewers.

o   Locally, UniMás out-delivered NBCSN’s coverage among Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston and Dallas.

 

·         The final F1 race of the season from Brazil which aired on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 10:51 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET on UniMás, delivered the largest audience to date for the network.

o   The race delivered 339,000 Total Viewers and 179,000 Adults 18-49, besting the first race of the season from Australia on March 16, 2013 by +171% and +149%, respectively.

o   Delivered the largest audience of the season among Adults 18-49 in New York, Houston and Dallas.

o   Outperformed NBC’s coverage of the same race among Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston and Dallas.

o   Out-delivered the first race of the season from Australia on March 16, 2013 among Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Houston and Dallas.

 

·         This season, F1 viewers on UniMás also consistently watched more matches live than F1 viewers on NBCSN.

o   97% of Adult 18-49 F1 viewers on UniMás watched the broadcast live, compared to 40%  for NBCSN.

o   Among Total Viewers, 96% of UniMás’ audience watched the broadcast live, compared to 39% for NBCSN.

 

·         The UniMás F1 viewer has a median age of 37 years, which is -11 years younger than F1 on NBCSN (48 years). And, the UniMás F1 viewer is younger than viewers of other major sports:

o   MLB (56 years median age on Fox)

o   NFL (47 years on NBC)

o   NHL season (42 years on NBCSN)
